Well, l tried again, it went but l noticed that l could not find my name under the "category section"? So, l chose "NVS" as my category, funny eeh?

Hello 10Kobo,

Usually we ask new Authors to select 'Guest Articles'. However, when an Author has had several of their articles published, we then usually create a special category for them.

I just submitted an article myself. How long does the process take? On the issue of Visa, I learnt its not compulsory? What advantages do I have from introducing myself then? Actually, I enjoyed some of the posts I read of previous intros.

The process of introducing yourself in the 'New Villagers' Introduction' section is not compulsory; however, if you enjoy being welcomed and sharing a bit of information about yourself, it's a good idea to go through it.

Yes, I did that on Tuesday 6th May, I registered and then sent an email with the article as a MS Word attachment. I received an email acknowledgement and verification requestwith this heading: 'Your email requires verification verify#PzKa_nTwHZb0XUwOFHE1wywuKmknyZL4'.
The body of the email read:
'The message you sent requires that you verify that you
are a real live human being and not a spam source.

To complete this verification, simply reply to this message and leave
the subject line intact.

The headers of the message sent from your address are shown below:'

I promptly responded to this and received another meassage on Wed, 7th as follows:

'This message is a reply to a boxtrapper verifcation message.

No action is needed on your part.'

I sent the same article to another site and it was published the same day. So, I was beginning to think that (going thru the Square's intro) was the meaning of obtaining a 'visa'

I can assure that am a real live human being and definitely NOT a spam source.

I'll definitely take a walk thru the square soon. Need to visit my armoury first for some bullet proofing.

The introduction process has nothing whatsoever to do with eligibility to publish articles.

I followed the guidelines re: sending an email to the given address, but the email bounced right back and this was the celivery status notification i got:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

PERM_FAILURE: Gmail tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 501 501 : domain missing or malformed (state 14).

so what do i do now? how do i get my articles posted and my status changed to 'author'?

If so, I should have received it - but I haven't yet. Could you please resend, ensuring that you spell the e-mail address correctly?

Alternatively, you can try sending it via the 'Contact Us' link.

Hello beautiful square,

I am very glad, tripped and happy to be part of thi great gathering of rich intellectual capital. I am a Nigerian writer/journalist, just been too busy to join all the wonderful stories and jists going on in the square, which I hope to make up very soon.

Pls keep the story flowing, the articles burning deep in our minds and the Green-white- Green flying....
