Brilliant piece as usual.
You may want to start your prospective new job by forming "BOGEMCO" that means "Bode George Must Come Out". That will put you ahead of all other aspirants.

One of the best letter of application for a job i have seen for a long time. If Nigeria were run on the basis of MERIT, this job would without doubt be yours when BOY GEORGE comes out in the coming weeks or months.

Your grasp of the intrincases and nuances of the Nigerian polity from any other, including other African societies, is SOMETHING ELSE AND I DOFF MY HAT.

I will keep this article in my archive and post it to BOY GEORGE if he were stupid enough to employ another when he is released in the coming days. Did i say weeks or months previously?

Brilliant piece and i look forward to the next!

I am surprised that I didnt notice this executive application letter when it was published on NVS until when it becomes one of the most forwarded emails to Nigerians. The person that forwarded included me amongt several others on his list. The message is loaded: funny, emotional, satirical and above all instructive towards the end as it gives the ultimate message to decode: vanity upon vanity... upon vanity as some so called close/intimate associates might wish one is gone completely for their absolute enjoyment.

Very funny piece. The sad part is that a lot of the stuff is the reality of Nigeria. I guess we should also be on the look out for internet rats on NVS.
