Two thumbs-up, Mr. Abati. Quite an interesting reading, naturally.Kudos to the Nigerian pilgrims. The Saudis deserve far worse. Over the past years they treat Nigerians with a lot of disrespect. It might be argued that we must have, nay indeed we have, given terrible account of ourselves in the holy land in the last couple of years. But the Saudi reaction is out of proportion. They treat us openly like we are some piece of rubbish or something. It may again be argued that other countries like USA, UK, etc treat us likewise. May be, but not before witnesses from every country of the world. I pray this singular experience drills into their heads some home truth: Nigerians are a really patient lot just before they get mad.
