Cock Crow at Dawn! TV is not the same anymore in Nigeria. What happened? Then came the Beyond our Dreams(RIP to Tanko) but it was not quite the same.
In which one was there the chief of Oluwa Lambe Lodge?

Yes, dasit! I am trying to remember the name of the lady in Mirror in the Sun. She just started acting again. That woman.. chei! She is from the South South. She acted in Stolen (or Lost) Child. She was the homeless/haggard woman selling roasted corn (with a well manicured set of nails too), the mother of St. Obi's character. Alero is coming to my head, but I doubt that that's her name.

I think the proper spelling is 'Koko Close'... but I'm sure someone will be along to correct me.
"My belle o... my head o" was a trademark phrase of Jagua - he was a kind of shameless old man who got up to all kinds of mischief (very much like Aluwe of Ojo Ladipo Theatre).
Other soaps/dramas I recall:
- Adio family;
- Sounds of Destiny (?) - I think Sola Fosudo starred in this;
- Mind Bending (not so much a soap as a series of dramas);
- House No. 13 (a very short lived comedy/drama);
- Sura di Tailor;
- For Better For Worse;
- There was another one that Jab Adu starred in, but I can't remember the name, although I do recall the theme tune was performed by the late Steve Rhodes;
There are other comedy/dramas that I could mention, but I'd like to keep on topic. Anike,
Is the woman you're thinking of Barbara Soky? or Clarion Chukwurah?

What about the mexican soaps. There was one about identical twin sisters; the mean sister stole her sisters man and the good sister ended up on another part of the Island etc. I didnt finish it but it hunted me for years. I really wanted to know what happened to the sisters at the end.
