I find that a lot of the ivorian men, actually behave like people from some parts of Nigeria.... very enmeshed in 'kolshor'.

The only problem is that their men bleach their skin, wear neon coloured trosis, and pull it all the way up, to their jaw line.Whether dem go school or not....dem must to bleach.

In the early 90s when i was still in London there was this particular programme on Channel four about Congolese men on Giro & living in council houses in East London but make it a point of duty to dress in the most expensive and elaborate designers wears ( they often travel to Paris to buy cloths).


Papa Wemba is also a classic Congolese dresser, even at age 80+ he still has this dapper dress sense….

From Senegal, all the way to Mali, Guinea.... Once they enter this France to Holland (Euro continental) train, even if they step out from the train in Lille (Belguim/French border) you will still percieve their strong tabu scent smell all......the way to Gare du Nord (Paris)

My sister, I made a life prolonging decison never to drive in Paris again....I get one Senegalese lady wey de sew African outfits for me in Paris...when I dey go give am cloth ehn... if you ever take the Bus 65 from Gare du Nord heading toward Aubervilliers.......Jesu kristi. First off...There is no non-African anywhere on that route.....Then the whatever it is called sticks to your nostril for ever...or so it seems.
In short, as I dey type now, I dey hole my breath. Na so the impact dey affect me whenever I think of am.
