Folks,
There are so many interesting nigerian blogs out there and we want to do two things with them
1. Create links from NVS to make it easy to get to them
2. Get their RSS Feeds into the Square i.e create a Naija Blog-Portal
So do you know any interesting blogs out there? LIST THEM HERE.

In simple English: Is it safe (or advisable) to run a photo-blog? Maybe it is all harmless, and I am only being unduly paranoid; I do not know. Please enlighten me, if you may. Muchas gracias, mis amigas.

omodudu.blogspot.com/ that's mine
By the way, the system is telling me I need 10 posts to be able to post links, that means I am left with the copy and paste option.

Soul Sista and Don Abraxas,
You people won't kill me oh! It's not hard to find Nigerian blogs now. Just click on one and it will lead you to a thousand more. If I had a full week all expense paid (by Big K ofcourse) to do nothing other than find blogs, I could get at-least 2 million before that week runs out. This one was as a result of one sleepless and jobless night in Cali.
BTW SS; I think the Niaja gay guy's blog you were looking for is Naija stud or Naija homo. It's on the list above

You are right. The blogger that I was concerned about is Naija Homo. Re-reviewing your list of blogs, I realized that you did give my guys Etomi and Atunbi a shout out. I had not noticed before. It is all good.

Di Don:
You are right to be concerned about the fotoblogs, IMHO. I think a fotoblogger should invest in security features that one can use to protect fotos from unauthorized downloading et al. Personally, I won't put my pictures on the NET. But everyone has a different tolerance level.
The whole issue of blogging whether in text or foto form can be risky business once you are talking about your personal life. It is a phenomenom of our over exposed world and how some people are taking to that world in a very personal way. It is risk. You never know when and if it will come back and bite you. And, I say this with all seriousness as one who should know. For example, I was just reading an, if my memory serves me correctly, American Bar Association journal article in which an employment lawyer was discussing how more and more employers are using on line searching engines to discover what would normally be unobtainable personal information about applicants. Apparently, My Space and Blogville are now favorite hang outs for employers. The writer of that article appeared to be suggesting that the younger generation that makes up much of the population of hang outs like My Space and Blogville have a very naive attitude about the possible effects of so much revelation of personal information, much of which will put one in a questionable light to a future employer. It is food for thought.

| Re: A compedium of Naija Blogs Hey Folks
Per Admin, we are starting a new section on NVS to take RSS feeds from interesting blogs - starting with villagers' own blogs. The first is by bellanaija
Here's the link: http://www.nigeriavillagesquare.com/board/blog-feeds/
So if you are a villager and you have a blog (Adaure, Verastic, omodudu et al), enable RSS and lets have the feed link. Feedburner works best

Ogadinma , woa. She's added many of the blogs I have as well. Go girl, just keep adding because it's a growing industry. The Naija homo blog is an eye opner about some contemporary issues that are well hidden. Might open up more freaky discussions on NVS.

Hi, I Love Nigeria (alias Mr. Paul ADUJIE Esq./IT profesional of New York City)!
Does it, I mean, the fukcing TYPO-(error), REALLY matter? If so, why you not correct the tittle of YOUR own post? Could you not have sent a polite and unpatronising private message to Admin, the so-called poster/forum starter without all the histrionics?
Ol' boy, make you change-o. You've got to change your evil ways, my good friend, Mr. I Love Nigeria (pass OBJ). Me, I done talk my own finish.
Muchas gracias.
