There comes a time in any wo/man's life to take the bull by horn, or is it the horn by the bull? Arrrggggghhhh, wateva....like one of my friends will often say, weda it's the wife o, abi the husband is the one that ends up killing the snake..the main thing is for the snake to die..that is, be killed by either one...this we use mostly in the context of getting a household problem solved.

I was qwaffing some delicious carrot cake and criminally cold white wine with some friends the other day, and we got talking....we gisted, yarned, and chewed bits about so many life issues and got into some real deep juicy gossips.
And so we gossiped and gossiped, and gossiped some more till we got to a very troubling and not funny oh la la.

There's this couple who have been dating for close to 2years...we could all see that they sorta like each other's company..and the first year had gone by without either one ever making use of the all so important words. This has gone on now for almost 2 years.

What's so difficult in saying 'I Love U' with meaning?

How long do u have to be in a relationship before u know for sure that u love someone, and tell them?

How will u feel, if ur partner holds back, and wont tell u for real how they feel about u?

hhmm, i think women are too much into this "i love you" thing.

Does saying i love you make the guy respect her any more than he already does? or would that keep him from cheating on her if he wanted to? or would that make him more tolerant of her shortcomings? or would it make him more understanding of her moods and temoeraments?

Those are just words o, and words are cheap, too cheap these days.

I'd rather my woman walked the walk, rather than talk the talk, so saying i love you, with or without meaning is really no guarantee of fidelity or longevity of a relationship.

just my take o, i sabi say dem go chop me fresh after voicing this sane opinion!

To say I love you can be diffcult you know anyway as 9ija person. People from 9ija often seem to show their love in many different ways.
If you can say it, don't hold back. Simply say it if it makes you and the other person feel better.
Remember that sometime back if not now sef..if a woman tells a 9ija man I love you..the man don pick race long time.
    No long thing!

I no sabi what is so hard in telling someone that you truly care about that you love him/her. I once dated a guy who refuse to say the L word. After two and half years, omo i had to let him go. If you cannot tell me you love me in almost 3yrs then when will you propose? When do we get married? If you cannot say you love someone and mean it then why waste your time (granted you are wasting the other person's) but what about your own precious time Mr abi na Miss Selfish. If you don't feel someone in 2yrs gbabe you no go feel the person lialia (forever ever).
