Camping With My Father

Posted Oct 1, 2009 at 10:38 PM by Oluwato (Just musing )

Thank You Daddy for Sukkot! Thank You for this appointed time to camp out with You, to receive from You, to rejoice with You.

It's sukkot time, it's a seven-day celebration, it's tehillah time and I celebrate Avinu Malkeinu, our Father and King!

For giving us a new time season we give You praise

For showering on us Your grace, we give You praise

For redeeming us to Yourself, we give You praise

For believing in us when we are faithless, we give you praise

As I stepped outside,
Rain fell upon my head.
My car wouldn't start
so I walked to school instead.

I forgot all of my assignments
I failed all of my tests.
I dropped my head...
