I am a little confused these days about the things I'm hearing in some churches today as opposed to what I originally knew to be the Gospel some21 years ago, or is the gospel evolving too?? so I decided to put out this note from my faith book group to the open public.
Someone said once that the reason he was preaching money was because financial prosperity in Christendom is at its all time low and children of God are living in squalor and poverty. He also quoted a bible verse that says" the whole creation is in earnest expectation of the sons of God" and added that since we are the sons of God, the only way to show our selves to the creation is buy getting money and the only way to have money is by "PREACHING MONEY”. Well I have done my research and this is my finding....
The bible says 'the whole creation is in earnest expectation of the Son's of God'. Trust me my friends when I say that the bible was not talking about Christians or pastors who have amassed wealth for themselves. If na money matter or aristo we don see that one finish. There are rich and powerful men everywhere in the world today, people so rich they do not know what to do with wealth any longer. Only recently bill gates announced that he wants to give out more than 3 quarters of his wealth before the year 2010, he now has a foundation that helps him dash out money and Christian pastors are preaching money message, leading children of God astray to run after what an unbeliever is throwing away. It is not rich pastors that the whole creation are eager to see and I emphasis that without mincing my words "IT IS NOT RICH AND SELF AGRANDIZED PASTORS.

It is funny how these men who preach this lie are so sort after and the poeple who actually have the real Healing powers are being banned, criticised and scandalised left, right and centre.
Isaiah 61 blatantly tells us why the Spirit of the Lord comes upon us and I remember he said it would be to FREE and not to CAPTIVATE, and the freedom part, the unbinding part, the proclamation part, I emphasis. Jesus said in my name they shall cast out demons, in my name they shall speak in new tongues, THEY SHALL LAY THEIR HANDS ON THE SICK AND THEY SHALL RECOVER, ALL THESE THINGS YOU SHALL DO IN JESUS NAME. Not in the name of having money or by having money.
Also ill tell you more things the whole creation is in earnest expectation of:
Men who would be thrown into fire for the gospel sake and will not be burned, men who would walk on water to preach the gospel, men who would command the storm to cease and it would obey so they can propagate the gospel, men who would not be killed by the poison of the most poisonous asps because they are doing Gods work, Who would carry the gospel with nothing but truth and obedience in the message they preach so that God can manifest himself in and through their message and bless the lives of those who are spiritually in need of salvation.
Why wouldn't they be burned? Because FIRE is an element of the creation.
Why wouldn’t they drown? Because the Water is an element of the creation.
Why would the wind obey? Because the wind is an element of the creation.
Why would they not be poisoned by the asps bite? because the power of God flows through your veins. And yes an asp is an element of the creation.
Why proclaim power in their message to the people and to the church when they preach? because the church is the core element of the new creation. Remember the bible says the "Whole creation" both old and new, saved and unsaved. All these elements showed some form of recognition at one time or the other and even especially when Jesus showed up. Yes the expectant creation witnessed Gods power in the Son of God. Even Nebuchadnezzar said “I see a man like the SON of God (hence establishing recognition of the SONSHIP)" after he threw the 3 men who refused to bow down to him into the blazing furnace. Why is it not happening in our time? Is it that we just don't believe what we are being taught or that we are just being led astray all together?
I know some people would be saying I am being over spiritual. I say it has happened before why can't it happen again?, 'eeh!! money can not fall from heaven now! how will they build their church....and I will ask was the core ingredient and propagator of your salvation money? Didn't you just hear and believe??
If it is the Gospel and not the message of mammoth that is being preached by these strange men, then why are children of God still sick in their bodies? why are they still confused? why do they ask and wonder within themselves what it really feels like to hear from God when someone comes to say 'God told me',? why are children of God being deceived like zombies into giving up all their money to their own detriment and to some pastors enrichment? why are they asking God why? Now a lot of our beautiful Nigerian sisters are giving up on a good education to run after that thing that pastor preached about on sunday. A lot of them end up as victims of the most dasterdly circumstances of this world, but this was not Gods intension for anyone.
The woman who gave her last coin wasn't coerced into giving her money by any pastor, she gave with a free and generous heart, and she believed and was blessed. I say shame on anyone who brings down the gospel to the level of saying it is about financial prosperity, putting the CROSS of Jesus Christ under their piggy bank and devaluing salvation, attempting to swap the pure and precious BLOOD of Christ for the disgusting saliva of mammoth, using it to wash away the truth from the hearts and minds of spiritually weak Christens and taking advantage of them, promoting buying and selling in Gods temple. They say 'If you give me $' I will give you healing...No!!!I say, If you want to be Rich, work hard and be diligent in what you do, and You would get there, it is a natural law and not the Gospel. I say the Gospel is more awesome than mare money talk.
It is up to the children to see the truth of the true message an believe. If you are spiritually prosperous, you would not chase paper, because all things as you know are yours and like Paul the apostle everywhere you go or find your self, people will be blessing you. If it is really faith you will not preach money, you would not spend money, you will not even see money but you will have it all, because it is all yours to use for the building of his kingdom and to his Glory. Even Miles Monroe said he doesn't remember what money looks like because when he walks into a shop he is giving both what he wants and even what he doesn't need free of charge.
It is up to C.O.G's to open their eyes and see that they are being distracted by the same lies that Jesus, Peter, Paul, and other true believers whose eyes have been opened by the truth of the Gospel have once upon a time tried to point out.
May God open the eyes of our understanding.
