i get excited everytime i read your posts,
am always struck by your intelligence,
your eloquence, how insightful your thoughts are, how deep your thinking is, how funny your jokes are and how level you make your arguements and marshall your points.
i fell in love with you the first time i heard your voice. we couldn't stop talking on the phone, we had so much in common, shared so many life experiences, love the same books, same movies, same food.
who knew a love such as ours could be found on a site such as this? who knew that from out of the many who post and blog, who catch your attention, whose posts you always make comments on, always thank and always visit their "hut", you would chose me to endow your love and affection?
My life is a better place since i met you, my laughter is louder, my smile broader, my footsteps quicker, my heart merrier, the weather so much more joyful since we expressed our love for each other and confessed our affections.
NVS!! what a melting pot you are. how typical of the Nigerian society you have become, comprising of persons from all works of life, from all tongues and tribes in the Nigerian community, welcoming all and sundry, being a meeting place for ideas, opinions, comments, thoughts, beliefs and shared experiences.
How thankful i am that i visit the NVS, that i met you in the village square, that i was struck by your unique avatar, which speaks so much about who you are: on the one hand mysterious, on the other hand, so open, so plain, so easy to read and understand. you are indeed a true African beauty and a rare gem, a princess who deserves the adulation of her numerous subjects in the village.
i want to sing for joy, i want to tell the whole world just how fortunate i am to have you to love me, i want to proclaim our love on the mountain tops, i want to trumpet it everywhere,
i want to visit all the forums in NVS and post of our love and commitment to each other.
But i will respect your wish and keep it between ourselves and tell only the few we trust to be genuinely happy for our union. i have waited and waited for a woman such as yourself to fill the void that was my life. how content i now am, how generous of spirit i will always be, to love a woman as yourself, so humble, so down to earth, without the games some women are known for.
i will be sure to tell others to keep the faith and be patient, for indeed true love can be found in the oddest of places... NVS, this same NVS, where villagers pour out their heart, some hidden behind brown bags, others so bold as to say things the way they feel and hope for the best in responses from others. i know of many who have lost all hopes of meeting that special someone, even though they genuinely like and respect some posters, they fear to make their feelings known so as not to be snobbed or fooled.
Alas, we took a chance and even though we had our doubts, mine was instantly dispelled the minute i saw you on our first visit. How so like your write ups you are, how much of you came across on your posts and blogs, how you show your hand without knowing it everythime you write and post, every comment you make is just so like you, therefore, i knew what to expect when i saw you and i was not disappointed and even though i had seen your pictures, i would have picked you out from a crowd of a hundred thousand if i hadn't seen your pictures earlier.
I love you so very much and thank God everyday that i found a woman such as you and as we discuss and plan our next moves, one thing am pretty sure of: it will always be you.
