I don't normally have good things to say about the winter in this part of the world, but right now I'm well pleased with the cold, as it appears to be keeping away
those pesky fruit flies. I'm not fully sure what's going on, though. Even if the cold makes the flies less active, shouldn't they then be targetting my flat as a welcome source of heat in winter, and shouldn't I be even more bothered by them? You know - maybe I shouldn't over-analyse the matter too much. For all I know, there may be fruit...
