This roller coaster called life has a way of making you forget to remember that no one else apart from you is concerned about you. It's your life and only you understand what you want out of it.

I have been jolted by this reality time and time again.
No one is who they seem to be at first
No where is what it looks like at first

And gullible little me is caught in the middle of trying to understand who or what each person is and where the mirage i saw

The Language of Pain

I remember a story that someone once told me about a student they knew. This student had managed to inflict some injury on himself (I can't remember how now), and as you might expect, he cried out in pain. But the cry was very strange: it went "Yeee... I mean, Ouuuuuch!"

Remembering this story makes me thing about how we vocalise our pain. Certainly in our student's case, it's doubtful that he was in that much agony if he could stop himself from expressing his pain in the traditional...
