The Job Role

The successful candidate for the Project manager (with civil engineering experience) position in Nigeria is expected to be an experienced, committed and energetic leader to work within their civil engineering division – the position requires experience and leadership qualities – the ability to inspire, guide and lead others in the team to achievement in practical ways

The Project manager will be involved in working on the construction and maintenance of numerous highway and building projects – professional competence and discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works

For this project it is important that the successful candidate has extensive knowledge and relevant experience in overseeing the design and construction of roads, drainage systems, infrastructure and buildings.

Such experience, knowledge and skills acquired through the provision of a range of Civil engineering solutions.should have been gained through actual involvement in such activities.

The role of the Project manager will be to plan, monitor and control the project to completion within the agreed time and budgetary constraints; project planning and implementation are critical

Must have ability for planning and establishing priorities; coordinating and monitoring the work of others, and delegating responsibility where appropriate; Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills; Resourcefulness, initiative, and maturity of judgment;
