WANTED FOR IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT (LONDON): MARKETING ASSISTANT – WORKING FROM HOME

Location: London

We are a UK-based innovative online media store, marketing and distributing African literature, music and movies in the UK, Europe and USA.

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant of African (preferably Nigerian) descent, based in London to work on a Part-time basis. This role would allow you to work from home and would therefore suit someone who is a student looking for additional income and work experience.

This position will enable a highly driven individual earn a healthy income with relatively minimum input hours and provide hands-on project experience for a University Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receiving Internet based purchase orders
• Timely sorting, packaging and dispatching of orders via local post
• Efficient holding, maintaining and monitoring of product stock
• Promoting and creating awareness of the business through handbill distribution and displaying branded merchandise.

REQUIREMENTS:
• London based with easy access to local Post Office
• Own a windows based computer & internet access
• Fluent English Language knowledge
• Excellent Marketing skills (Online marketing , Direct Marketing)
• Excellent Computer and Internet skills
• Good knowledge of African music, movie and literature markets.
• Outgoing and friendly customer relations disposition

REMUNERATION:
Remuneration will be a base allowance + very attractive commission on sales.

Start date : April 30th 2009
