Yes, lateesha and I went at it a few days ago (Tuesday night to be precise) on this site because we both had opposite views on an issue. What you seem to be insinuating and I would really appreciate your being forthright on this issue is that Admin didn’t penalize us like they should have because I am Admin’s favorite and that I’ve been coming to the site for so long therefore, I am one of their selected. Furthermore, I am also wont to believe that you feel she might have been purged due to the incident, while I am still left standing! This life sha! By their fruits shall ye know them! I didn’t know I had enemies like this on NVS oh! Thank you Jesus! I kuku said before that this is my opportunity to start knitting hats, socks, and mittens! However, before I start lessons with Mrs. Thatcher, let me say this:

I am not Admin’s favorite, and if I am, will be quite shocked assuming I never even thought Admin had favorites! Me and awon Big-K have fought well-well in the past, because I don’t always plaster my own in the open does not mean exchanges have not happened. For example, I have received an infraction before so there is nothing new under the sun! Did I shout and make noise? No! The first time I got one, I sent a PM to have them explain what I did wrong. NL was the one who responded and explained what I had done wrong. I didn’t like it, but hey it was what it was. Finally, after battling them a few times, I came to the reality that I like NVS, it has people who run it, who administer it, in essence, they are the powers that be. If I wanted to engage NVS and enjoy the advantages it offers like I have been doing for the past 5 or so years, I had the option, go with whatever they enforce, or leave. I chose to stay and to adhere to the rules and regulations of the site accordingly. This is my take on life. As an analogy, I have a job with oga’s and executives who are responsible for making decisions that affect the running of affairs of their institution including my employment with them. If I choose to continually violate the company directives and go against their laid-down rules, if they decide to terminate my employment due to non-adherence to company policy, I have myself to blame. I may not agree with everything they have to say or their rules, etc., but I have an obligation to abide by them provided I want to keep my employment and continue to get that paycheck!

Frankly I was shocked that lateesha and myself didn’t get yellow or red cards during the fight! In an earlier post on that same thread, I had alluded to the fact that I would fight to finish on this particular issue b/w she and myself and would proudly parade my red/yellow infractions (by printing, framing, and hanging them on my cubicle wall I guess in this case, it would be my NVS hut window), whatever the case may be and if the situation called for it, even agree to be banned from NVS if that is what the moderators/admin would have liked to eventually happen. In fact that very post was reported and removed because I was ooooooooh so ready to deal with her! It was obvious that lateesha and I went out of line (but na condition wey make crayfish bend), but when we didn’t get yellow or red card, I repeat me sef was shocked! I guess it was because both of us went toe-to-toe and at the end of the day, everybody went home happy! Or did you expect both of us to march hand-in-hand to Admin’s hut to be asking Admin for yellow or red card?

If Admin decides this moment to give me a yellow or red card, I will take it in good faith and tell myself it was as a result of what went down and that I deserve it. Admin knows why the other party was purged. I know too, but if anyone else missed it, too bad! At least one other person saw it because they made a comment that I saw but I absolutely will not have any hand in sharing with the village what went down. I swear, at times, God has a way of testing you so He decides to put you at the right place at the right time. Me, I fear God oh! When she returns, if she so desires, she will share the incident with NVS. In the interim, keep formulating.

Finally, please who was fighting for the person in paper bag? Enlightenment is a powerful word in as much as I nor even know if I spell am correctly! Abi una forget say the paper bag head is a human being as well? In fact, paper bag yen gaaaan is the real crux of the matter. They wore paper bag for a reason. That they wore paper bag does not mean they are stone or wood! This is not a matter of fighting for someone in paper bag……it is the violation of forum rules that is the real ko-ko of the matter. If you don’t think AV should be allowed in palava hut, then submit your case and let admin/moderators debate on it. If you can’t see that, then I can’t help you. Please let us not go there! Even as grammacious as Aupicious is, he says certain things at times that makes me wonder if he did not take the words and the way he used them right out of my mouth. One day, I had written up a post and was yet to post it when I read agensheku’s thread in palava hut. Turns out I had used two exact words that were used in his same post. I churned those words out in the course of writing my post, and was amused to see that he had used them in his post way back before I wrote my post and I was NEVER privy to his post before writing mine. I remember it vividly, because I was thinking to myself that day that hope they don’t think agens and I are the same person oh! That is cyberworld for you. People may begin to identify with a particular style after a while and adopt it.

Has it occurred to any of you, that I have not even made noise about the fact that she outed AV as me (though I didn’t find it funny) rather my noise is that she outed AV and to take it further I think my real beef was that she didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Reason is when I know I am not AV why waste my time shouting. Mr. Mahogany scans NVS well well (ask Admin) so I know that if he saw such a post AND it were true, my head will be dangling on a pole outside our house right now so wharraheck! I am not worried because Mr. Maho can read it and it won’t make sense to him because it won’t gel i.e. it won’t make sense since nothing of the sort has ever happened in my household!

Osi, for the record, I have added you to the list of those who I know hate me on NVS, okay! I will ensure that going forward, I steer clear of you on NVS. I think I have done well for myself on NVS and in order not to tarnish my reputation thus far, if I see you coming from one direction on NVS and we are both heading towards each other, I will cross the road for you! Mswoman, I like the fact that you were honest and blunt in your post. The fact that you did not get infractions shocked you as much as it did the whole village. Bottom line, admin needs to dole out disciplinary actions accordingly. If I deserve a yellow card, I should get a yellow card though it's all left to admin's discretion. I didn't think the free for all show should have gone on for that long especially when your personal business is involved. If I had seen the thread on Tuesday, I would have reported it and there ain't no shame in that. I didn't get wind of it till Lateesha landed in purgatory.

I never do AV for a reason, because some villagers have made it their mission to out AVs. They do not care if the AV is hurting or not, all they care about is exuding their newly acquired FBI skills. First, it was a case of outing agbonz as wife number # AV living in a bungalow, this time it was with Mswoman. Nothing was done then, the license was literally given to proceed as admin ignored the issue.


Hey, these are my own observations. I will call it as I see it. I may not have admin powers but if I see something stinky going down, I will bring it to their attention. Though lately admin has chosen to ignore me, and has refused to answer my PMs.

If AV who could respond to those outing her refused to do so or refused to take offence at the insult hurled at her..... wetin be your own inside am. i am happy that you admit that you expected to be given an infraction, but got none, while you attribute it to both of you being toe to toe... i say that is tosh..... reason being that the Tolerance level for Lateesha by moderators is damn too low ( you go check her infractions history)... the main reason i could adduce is because you are involved... but why you may have been special.. i cannot say and do not care, all i care about is the double standard being exhibited by either admin or the moderator....if I am to give admin a benefit of doubt, i will say it was it was not brought to their attention,,,,, but that will be far fetched... then the pattern of event was not exactly new in the wielding or otherwise of the big stick.

My response that you have posted on was not directed at you, but was an answer to Questions which was done in all honesty and was not meant to offend your person because you were not the only one alluded to. NAR had i subsequent post given m,e some reasons on how what i perceive as selectiveness may actually be people being human out of familiarity.

Who was crying louder than the bereaved? Someone outed AV as me, that was when I got involved in this whole mess otherwise who cares? Nevertheless, you say I abused lateesha because she abused AV. Not once did I even abuse lateesha because of AV go back and read the thread. I might even admit (tho I'd hate to) that I agreed with a few of lateesha's points on that thread. I went off on lateesha when she continued to say I was AV and frankly that was my right or did you expect me to indulge her? Also because she didn't respect AV's privacy and when I say AV I am not talking about this AV in particular but any AV period! You say AV outed him/her/self. If it smells like cheese it's NOT ALWAYS cheese, trust me honey. It could jolly well be fermented locust bean!

Don't know why AV has not come to defend himself/herself, too bad! That is their own sha-la-la so there! But please note, I never defended AV....nowhere have I defended AV since this whole thing started. That is how they go and come up with all kinds of illusions!

Finally, I don't attach any importance to any relationships on NVS, I have been told many things about what people say on NVS and I don't let it bother me, okay. Abi will my relationship with Osi get me a loan at the bank faster than usual? Iiiish! I doubt it! I protest only when I feel wronged. If I don't feel as if anything concerns or affects me, you won't find me there. That is my philosophy on NVS and in everything I do in life.

Apparently all villagers are still not equal.

I don't see what I wrote up here that's wrong, same goes for the one you deleted. But I know you will probably come back and delete it again. You know it isn't a must that all villagers must agree with you. We're all not in the same caucus. Had I written personal insults, there would have been a reason to delete my post. But deleting my posts just because you can, is the lowest of the low. But then again, moderators operate differently.

If AV who could respond to those outing her refused to do so or refused to take offence at the insult hurled at her..... wetin be your own inside am. i am happy that you admit that you expected to be given an infraction, but got none, while you attribute it to both of you being toe to toe... i say that is tosh..... reason being that the Tolerance level for Lateesha by moderators is damn too low ( you go check her infractions history)... the main reason i could adduce is because you are involved... but why you may have been special.. i cannot say and do not care, all i care about is the double standard being exhibited by either admin or the moderator....if I am to give admin a benefit of doubt, i will say it was it was not brought to their attention,,,,, but that will be far fetched... then the pattern of event was not exactly new in the wielding or otherwise of the big stick.
You association with me has not brought me good or evil, so why should it make a difference to me if you put me in your imaginary black book... get a life and stop attaching too much importance to events online.
Finally i need not make a position on AV to admin , but since AV can respond in good measure, then why would you or anyone be fighting for her or him. "mai paskere ba ya kuka rushe itashe" (he who splits firewood for a living does not cry at deforestation).
My response that you have posted on was not directed at you, but was an answer to Questions which was done in all honesty and was not meant to offend your person because you were not the only one alluded to. NAR had i subsequent post given m,e some reasons on how what i perceive as selectiveness may actually be people being human out of familiarity.

This one is for you. Since you've closed that Enough thread because I asked a question. NVS does not appear to be a dictatorship yet but at this rate one may never know. Little by little, any post a moderator doesn't like is yanked off and that's the end.

You deleted my previous post because you have the almighty privileges on NVS. Once again, I reacted then but I didn't get a response. How about treating all villagers equal and using the same yardstick in dealing with all?
Apparently all villagers are still not equal.

I don't see what I wrote up here that's wrong, same goes for the one you deleted. But I know you will probably come back and delete it again. You know it isn't a must that all villagers must agree with you. We're all not in the same caucus. Had I written personal insults, there would have been a reason to delete my post. But deleting my posts just because you can, is the lowest of the low. But then again, moderators operate differently.
