Pastor Bisi got up before his congregation and proclaimed "We shall be making some changes to the Singles fellowship. As you all know, bro Timo has gotten married and he has resigned because he is not just a husband now, but a father to three children. We believe that the home is more important than ministry so he is busy ministering to his family right now. The leadership team have been waiting upon the Lord for the new leader of the fellowship and we are impressed to make a certain individual in charge."

Pasto Bisi continued "This certain individual is unique because the Lord brought her here two weeks ago. We have checked her references and interviewed her and we are convinced that she is the person the Lord has chosen. My wife even had a dream about her. I will call her name and present her to you in just a moment but I want you all to receive her and give her total support. She will also be giving the word this morning and I can tell you that you are in for a treat. Without further ado, kindly receive Evangelist Rahab."

The whole church clapped as Rahab got up and walked to the front of the church. She thanked Pastor Bisi before receiving the microphone and set her bible on the pulpit.

Rahab: Thank you, thank you, you may be seated. I am grateful to God, my Father, the Creator of heaven and earth who had mercy on my soul and delivered me from the bondage of sin that I was in for over 25 years. How many of you have seen me before? (No one raised their hands), I can't believe that no one had ever seen me before, or are you trying to hide the fact that you have committed visual adultery? (The whole church was quiet).
No problem. Let me assure you that secrecy only fosters addiction, confession and accountability are the two keys to freedom.

My name is Rahab but that was not my name until three years ago when I got saved. I changed my name while I was in bible college. When I was born, my parents called me Gift, at twelve years old, I broke into my parents' room while they were away at work and watched their pornographic videos, my parent had a collection, over 20 videos, that was the beginning of sexual bondage for me. I am an ex nympho. I have featured in many pornographic films, for 25 years that was how I made my living, now I ask again, how many of you have seen me before? (About three hands went up).

Their courtship had been celebrated by many brethren and they had been models that many emulated. NYSC had taken them to two different places but the long distance was a challenge they quickly conquered. Their families had met and introductions had been made. They were both waiting for Cliff to get a good job while saving for their wedding. Two months ago, Cliff's job had finally materialised and they were ready to make appropriate plans. At least that was what Adeyinka thought until yesterday when she heard the news that Cliff had impregnated Jelina.

Adeyinka: Four years of my life down the drain, Cliff, how could you?

Cliff: I'm sorry, Yinka, I don't know what came over me, it was the Devil.

Adeyinka: You know, I can easily take it if you at least came out to tell the truth, that you don't want me anymore but this "it was the Devil thing is not going to work with me."

Cliff: You have to believe me, it was the Devil, I don't love Jelina, I love you, it was witchcraft, she was too mesmerizing, honestly, I was framed...

Adeyinka: And what did you do to your conscience while you were taking off your clothes, wasn't your conscience working? It takes at least 60 seconds to get all your clothes off and at least for 30 seconds, assuming an every two-second rate, your conscience was telling you, "no, don't do this". Why did you sear your conscience? This is how little I am worth to you, this is how cheap our relationship is to you, this is how little you value God's word. Why did you put yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time? Four years Cliff, four years! I refuse to hate myself, you disobeyed, you pay the price. I forgive you but I can't spend the rest of my life with you, this is really a blessing in disguise, imagine if you had done this ten years into our marriage, after all we've been through together.

Cliff bowed down his head speechless...

Adeyinka: It was nice to have known you as well, enjoy your life with Jelina with that, she pressed his ring into the palm of his hand, picked up her bag and left with a sad Cliff watching her back.

Exclamation Re: The Ketubah - 1 of ? (Copyright Oluwato 2009)

Susan: I'm sorry, we're divorced. I didn't get back to Millie on time, the judge pronounced us divorced two hours ago, I'm sorry.

Matthew: Aaah Susie, how could you have forgotten such a thing? Nigeria is even 8 hours ahead, you could have called her this morning.

Susan: Oh, I thought it was 12 hours ahead, but that shouldn't be a problem, we'll just get married here, there's nothing to it is there?

Matthew: Where do you think you are, LA? You can't get married within an hour here, we need a minimum of 7 days and you're leaving tomorrow, Susie!

Susan: Watch your tone or I'll think again about remarrying you, O Lord Jesus help, how can I fix this?

Matthew paced the floor up and down praying in tongues then he screamed "Shanitua".

Susan: Shanitua?

Matthew: Yes Shanitua, I'll trade places with her.

Susan: She needs to return to work next week, also there's Nikeesha.

Matthew: We'll take Nikeesha with us, come there's no time to waste, we have to talk to Shanitua and make some calls.

Susan: What if Shanitua's work place does not give her more time off?

Matthew: They will, or she calls in sick,

Susan: That's lying.

Matthew: Okay, God will give me something, but there's no way I'm letting you return to LA as my ex, not after all I've learnt about what it means to be a godly husband.

Lightbulb Re: The Ketubah - 1 of ? (Copyright Oluwato 2009)

Fun sat down in Kris's room with a tired look on her face. Her sister Bankwas being discharged from the hospital tomorrow and she was worried. After she had fainted the other day, the shock of learning that she was pregnant prevented her from asking who the father of the pregnancy was. She had secretly hoped that it was Kris because she knew he spent a lot of time with her sister but having queried him he had dissented. The doctors had also warned her not to emotionally disturb Bankẹ.

She had told Kris her life history, how she was the first daughter of a prostitute. How she had never met her father, when she was eleven years old, her mother had given birth to Bank. Looking back she was sure God had used Bank's birth to save her life. She had been too busy mothering her sister that she had grown to detest her mother's profession. Thankfully, she had listened to the SU (Scripture Union) people who had come to preach to her and her mother, that was when she had gotten saved, she was just 15 years then. She remembered the abuse her mother had dealt to her for choosing to befriend the "ugly and dull" SUs.

Her perseverance had paid off because her mother began to fall ill a year after she had gotten saved. That had made her mum run to God and give her life to Christ. Her mum had stopped being a commercial sex worker and sold goods at the market. Soon they had to move out of the three bedroom flat they rented to a small room. It was in that room that she knew the power of prayer and faith in God. Medicine could not help her mother and her mum was finally diagnosed as having AIDS. Her mother lived for six years on the power of faith before passing away. This had enabled Funto get her Bachelors in accounting and step into her new role as breadwinner with greater buying power. She remembered her mother's last words as she died in her arms "tju aburo ẹ" (look after your sister).

Kris's words cut through Fun's thoughts, "I'm sorry I wasn't always available for Bank, she did try to find refuge with me, I was too self-absorbed. Let's pray for wisdom and revelation. let's ask God to soften her heart so that she will reveal who the father of the baby is and that the man will do the right thing by looking after the child."

You Must Set Rules
Dr. Frederick K.C. Price
You have to govern your life in such a way that you cannot act without integrity, even when you might want to. You do this by setting rules for yourself and following them without exception.
These rules have to be based on a standard you ascribe to in life that does not change, regardless of the circumstances or consequences. Your standard has to be something higher than the circumstances, because circumstances come all the time.
These rules have to be made known to the appropriate parties involved. One of the three components of acting with integrity is to let people know where you stand. Likewise, you have to let your loved ones and the people you work with know where you stand in terms of the standard and rules you have set for yourself since they are likely to be the ones helping you to follow or carry out these rules. They will also hold you accountable, which will help you, stay on track.
These rules have to be set before circumstances arise so that you are prepared to deal with them. If you wait until you are in the midst of a challenge to decide how you are going to handle it, you are likely to come up with all sorts of ways to compromise.
Also, never leave room for second-guessing or thinking twice about the rules you have made. Stick to them. Be true to the standard you have set for yourself.
For example, part of my standard is not to be greedy for gain. I base this on the character traits listed in 1 Timothy, which is part of my standard. The rule I have set to be sure I stick to the standard of integrity that I see given in the Bible is that I always play by the rules. Even if no one else does, I will. It does not matter; I refuse to gain dishonestly by circumventing the rules, because to me this is being greedy for gain.
Now, as a minister, I am considered self-employed by the federal government of the United States. So I am responsible for paying my own taxes, just like the person who owns his own business. Throughout the year, I get a lot of money handed directly to me because people appreciate the gift that God has placed in me and how that gift has affected their lives in a positive way. Of course, it is not me; it is the Lord that they appreciate. But since they cannot physically give anything to Jesus and say, "Lord, thank You," they give it to His servant or those who represent Him.
I am at the point now where this is almost a constant thing. People will walk up, shake hands with me, and leave a hundred dollars in my hand. Of course, I do not know what it is at that moment. I just shake hands, realize they have given me a piece of paper (it could be a note or it could be money), and I put it in my pocket. I never look at it right there. I say, "Thank you." And go about my business until I am home.
No one knows what the person has given me except that person, me, God and the devil. The IRS does not know. Usually there is no record because it is a cash transaction. So, there is no paper trail, no canceled check. Over the course of a year, this can add up to a lot of money. I could choose not to report this money, so that I would not have to pay taxes on it. This would save me a considerable amount since I am in a tax bracket where I have to give the government 53 percent of my earnings.
But I have a little book that I keep, like a mini-pocket planner, in which I write down every single dollar I receive. I make a record of it. I am not required to do this as such. Yet, I do. So there is now a record and this enables me to keep close track of how much money I receive so that I can be sure to pay the appropriate taxes on it. This may seem a little extreme, but I do not go to bed at night wondering if or when the Internal Revenue Service is going to come knocking on my door.
Because I have set and followed rules for such a long time, I also benefit from having a sensitive conscience. This is good in that I know I would end up telling on myself if I did something wrong because I would have no peace. No minute of pleasure or any dishonest gain is worth giving up the ability to sleep at night. And this alone protects me form giving in to a lot of temptations.
Consequently, there is no way I could go to bed at night next to my wife after I had been intimate with another woman. I just could not--not because I am incapable of it, but because my conscience would not allow it. This kind of sensitivity has kept me from ruining my marriage, and this has been the ultimate payoff for me for living a lifestyle of integrity.

A f'ọpẹ f'Ọlọrun, lalalalalalala, Ẹni ’ohun'yanu ninu Ẹni taraye y ọ, gba ta wa lọmọ ọwọ Ohun lo e tọju wa lalalalalala e tọju wa sibẹ (Now thank we all our God, lalalalalalala, Who wondrous things has done, in whom His world rejoices, Who from our mother's arms, has blessed us on our way, lalalalalalala, and still is ours today).

Lanre sang the hymn as she washed her car. After the accident she was at home on sick leave so washing the car was a good way to spend her time. It turned out that the man who hit her was the younger brother of a mechanic. His brother had agreed to repair her car free of charge. She saw that as a blessing in disguise because if that grace had not been there she would have had to repair it herself. She was expecting him tomorrow to pick up her car.

Lanre continued to praise God in another praise song; "Lord You are so good, Lord, You are kind, Lord, You are wonderful, my Lord, You are excellent, excellent is Your name, excellent is Your power, Lord, You are wonderful, my lord, You are excellent." She was done with the body of the car. Her hands traced the deep gush the impact had made on her passenger side. Thank God for saving her life. Her parents had been shocked. She was grateful the driver too had made it okay. God's angels were certainly watching over her that morning.

Lanre bent down to scrub the tyres and her posterior area was what caught Damọla's eye as he made his way towards her... Was this lady pretty or what? He had thought so when he arrived at the accident scene on receiving a call from his brother. He had been the one to drive her home and he had left her his business card. God had turned around for good what the Devil intended for evil because he had made up his mind to pursue her...

Lanre: (getting up to find Damọla starring) Brother Damọla, surprise, I thought you were picking up the car tomorrow

Damọla: I am, I mean, I was, I..., I'm sorry, let me explain, I will pick up the car tomorrow, but I just wondered if I could take you out to lunch, as a way to make up for what my brother did.

Shanitua: What happened?

Susan: The flight was cancelled. Something went wrong with the one of the engines. They will call us tomorrow to let us know.

Shanitua hugged her daughter Nikeesha and let her go play with Siju and Tolu. On returning to Susan's room she plunged herself into the bedside chair and mused, " Ooo, sorry girl. I thought you'd be sleeping in the clouds by now."

Susan: I know, (lying down on the bed exhausted), Matthew is devastated, he's just been complaining about having to sleep alone one more night.

Shanitua: What is it with men and sex? That's all Luke can talk about.

Susan: So what did you finally decide?

Shanitua: I did it girl, I went to the registry and took the oath.

Susan: I hope you don't regret this, you've only known him two weeks..

Shanitua: And thanks to you, it'll be three weeks.

Susan: Immigration takes a while you know, I've heard that some take up to ten years!

Shanitua: Relax girl, I'm praying, it ain't gonna take that long.

Korede: It's alright, forget about him, he's just a man, don't let him have such an effect on you.

Adeyinka: But four years, how do I regain four years of my life?

Korede: I lost more than four years, God will restore everything you lost, He has His ways,

Adeyinka looked so down that Korede got up to give her a hug. A knock on the door was heard and Korede opened the door for Aylekan and Bde to enter.

Korede made introductions and asked "So what is the conclusion?"

Aylekan: The man has decided to leave tomorrow and he's leaving the girl with us.

Korede: I hope Ajk confirms that the girl is really her niece. I remember her stating that her twin had a little girl a while back.

Bde: If it's not the right girl, we'll report to the police, I took photographs of the man, I can identify him anywhere.

Aylekan: Poor Suru, what is he coming home to meet?

Bde: I hope the shock does not give him a tic episode.

Pastor Bisi: My evangelist, the brother is a rebel. I’m beginning to think that he’s communing with seducing spirits, he impregnated a lady called Bimpe, refused to own up to his sins and now he wants to partner with you, I don’t trust him, tell him no, we are not interested in such an unequal yoke.

Rahab consented to the words of her boss and went into her office to place a call to Evangelist Ezekiel dissenting from partnering with him. She had met his type before, they used women like tools, using the gospel as a cloak, they subvert and pervert. Lagos was really a strong city, but the power of the Holy Spirit was stronger. She still needed a male partner though, it was wise to partner with a male because of the men, the Yoruba culture, in fact, the general Nigerian culture still antagonized female ministers, even though she was head of singles fellowship, that was a church function, her passion was with evangelism and she was given the job with the understanding that she would be allowed to hold at least one crusade every month. Rahab got on her knees and placed her head on her chair to pray in tongues.

About thirty minutes later brother Lekan, Pastor Bisi's personal assistant knocked on her door. he informed her that pastor had decided to include her on the counseling team. She would have to participate in meeting with parishoners and counseling them. Lekan handed her the counseling forms, asked her to go through them and be prepared to complete for each "counsellee". Then he finished up by stating that her first client had arrived and he would send the person in within the next five minutes.

Rahab remembered the words of her bible college teacher, Dr Ocean, "Things are never as one expects in ministry, you'll suceed if you prepare for the worst."

Zainobe waved at Mosunmola as she drove off with Mathew, Susan and Nikeesha in her car. Mosunmola was the driver for the day and Paul couldn't get away from work. Zainobe had the task of keeping two active teenagers, Siju and Tolu happy until Mosunmola returned. That wouldn't be too difficult, all they had to do was shop and shop, they did.

Mosunmola had a nice time talking with Nikeesha at Muritala international airport. She had fun playing little girl games with the ten-year old while Mathew and Susan took care of the travel details. When they were done, Susan came to collect Nikeesha and give Mosunmola a beary hug "It was nice to have met you, I'm glad to have you as a sister-in-law."

Mathew: Mosun mi, ose my dear, you are a real treasure, my brother is blessed, I have envied him for years and I still do, although, with Susie giving me another chance, I may just catch up. He hugged her and turned to leave when Nikeesha broke free of Susan's hands to give Mosunmola a final hug.

Mathew: Wow, she has really taken to you

Mosunmola: And me to her, I hope my daughter turns out to be just as lovely, I promise to call her Nikeesha.

Mathew paused for a second then replied, "Well let's go, we don't want them to leave without us."

Mosunmola: Please wait, Paul is almost here, he's coming on okada (motorcycle).

Ajkẹ: Thank you very much brother Ay, Korede told me everything. Thank God you were here.

Aylekan: So why didn't he want to take care of the girl?

Ajkẹ: He is mentally sick, he is, he has to be. Really, it's a curse in my family, the men we are attracted to have mental issues, except Suru of course, he had been healed by God (smiling).

Aylekan: But even then, this is his daughter, he doesn't care what happens to her?

Ajkẹ: In his mind, he has handed her over to me, so he has done his duty. My brother, thank God he even thought to bring her here. I will take care of my niece, it's not the first time, it may not be the last, I don't believe that children should pay for the crime of their parents.

Aylẹkan: Korede was telling me about your twin sister, what really happened?

Ajkẹ: She doesn't know the full story because I get so emotional talking about it, but God has healed me so I will no longer live like I'm still sick. My twin sister, Ayink was a fraternal twin. She and I had little sibling rivalry but when we because teenagers, it was obvious I was prettier. Then the scorn became unbearable. She would deliberately go out with guys that asked me out to scorn me. It didn't matter to me until she got pregnant for Kelvin. Kelvin was many things but he was not a murderer, he married her because of the pregnancy and that was it, I lost the first love of my life. I hated my sister for many years. In defiance though, I got married the same year to Bolu, the local drunk, and we had a set of twins which kept me busy and sane until they both married and left for Europe, actually one of my girls is now in Australia.

Ayọlekan: No wonder, I was wondering where that Australian phone number at the office came from, it must have been your daughter.

Ajkẹ: Yes, the notice was short otherwise they would have come to the wedding. They all love Suru, they've been praying for me to remarry for years. Bolu died from liver cirrhosis like my dad, so I know about the curse of alcohol. Anyway, o, I forgot, my sis, no, Ayink too gave birth to twins, she had a set of boys, who unfortunately are like Kelvin, one of their victims still came to report Eugene, the younger one last month...huh, sorry, I digressed a little, please, wait, let me write that down so I don't forget, (she got up, went into her office and wrote a note to herself then returned) so, as I was saying, Kelvin was unfaithful to Ayinke, so it turned out that Ayink did me a favour by taking him, even though it took me a long time to forgive her, forgive Kelvin, forgive myself and even forgive God.

Aylẹkan: How did the little girl come about?

Ajkẹ: I will soon get to that, see Kelvin gave Ayink HPV which became cervical cancer, that's how he killed my sister, whereas he is still gallivanting all over the world, he has a good job, and he is such a bad father and husband, really, the only thing good he did was marry her, he doesn't have time for the boys, I hear he has children in every state of the country and I half believe it, Ayink finally divorced him ten years ago when her sons finished college, she really only stayed because of her boys, that's when she met the sicko Joshua who took advantage of her, ripped her off the little money she had and didn't give her the appropriate medical attention she needed. They had the little girl together... The phone rang and Ajk picked up.

Ezekiel tossed from side to side, on his bed, he was having a bad dream. Someone was after him, he could hear his name being called, "Ezekiel, Ezekiel", he refused to answer, whose voice was that, why was he being called? He kept running, he kept running, the voice was becoming louder, that meant the person was getting closer, he continued to run, he ran with all his might, he was sweating profusely, "Ezekiel, Ezekiel, today is your day to die, I am the avenger, today, you will pay for your sins, Ezekiel, Ezekiel, there is no where to run to, you owe me and today I will be paid."

Ezekiel kept running, he glanced backwards to see a man on a horse galloping towards him, he panicked and ran through a narrow alley yet as he came out he narrowly missed the horse rider, he ran back into the alley only to find that the opening was blocked at the end, there was no way out, the horse rider was gaining ground, he was doomed, he was going to die, today he would pay for his sins unless, unless he ran to the Lamb of God that took away the sins of the world, as the horse rider lifted up his sword to cut him off, Ezekiel cried out with all his might, "I plead the blood of Yeshua!"

Screaming "Yeshua" out loud, Ezekiel screamed out from his sleep, he was bewildered for a second, then realized that it was only a nightmare, he was so shaken he was drenched in sweat and having palpitations, he knelt down by the side of his bed and cried, "O Father forgive me for I have sinned, I have used your name in vain and polluted your holy temple, I have abused the body you gave me and caused others to defile their bodies, I have lusted and lied and committed idolatry, Father forgive me, I do not want to die and go to hell, I do not want to hear your judgment of depart from me o unfaithful servant, have mercy on me o merciful Father."

Damọla: So you don't believe that God made men and women equal?

Lanre: I didn't say that, I don't believe that our bodies are equal, that's what I said, we are equal spiritually, the bible says that in Galatians 3:28, but our bodies are different, male bodies are stronger and bigger and female bodies are smaller and prettier.

Damọla:Okay, I'll agree to that. I like the male bodies are stronger thing, because we are.

Lanre: O yeah, we're prettier.

Damọla: Yes, that's why we say women are to be seen not heard.

Lanre: I don't agree with that o, I will talk as much as I like, whenever I want to, God made me in His image.

Damọla: You are too sensitive, I was just kidding, plus I'd rather listen to your voice than mine, your voice sounds like that of an angel.

Lanre smiled to herself, he's good she thought, but he's a mechanic, why would she want to marry a mechanic?

Damọla: Thanks for a lovely time, I thoroughly enjoyed your company, I'm actually thankful to God that my brother hit your car, although, I've warned him not to do it again, so are you free this evening, may I take you to dinner?

Lanre: I have mid week service this evening, maybe another time.

Damọla:What time does church end?

Lanre smiled, "Do you want to come to church too?"

Damọla: If you invite me.

Lanre: Alright, church starts at seven O' clock and the ride is 15 minutes from my house, don't be late.

Exclamation Re: The Ketubah - 1 of ? (Copyright Oluwato 2009)

"Secret lovers, that's what we are..." Bintu hummed the song as she ironed her clothes, secret lovers, she remembered fantasizing about a secret lover when she was in college, what was that pastor said the other day? "Be careful what you think, be careful what you think on, be careful what you desire and long for because words become thoughts, thoughts become actions, actions become habits and habits become personalities."

The tune came up in her mind again, "secret...", Bintu stopped it and began to sing a praise song out loud "Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One, give thanks, because he's given Jesus Christ, His Son..." She was distracted by the knock on her door. She placed the iron upright and opened the door. The person she saw made her open her mouth wide, in shock, she became speechless, it couldn't be... after so many years...

Bde: Alright, you are right, not every woman is manipulative and difficult and controlling, but I have been attracted to those who were.

Adeyinka: Good to know you finally agree, well, I have to go, I don't know why Korede is taking so long, tell her I stopped by.

Bde: Please don't go now, I enjoyed chatting with you, I was hoping you'd have dinner with me...

Adeyinka, Dinner ke? I'm not ready to start another relationship, don't you know I just broke up with my fiance?

Bde: I know, Korede told me, forget about the silly boy, let us talk some more...

Adeyinka: That's another wrong presumption, I went out with him for four years, he did not mean to sin, he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time..

Bde: You women are so gullible, wrong place wrong time what? He's a play boy, you deserve better, if you had not been so fooled the four years you were together you would have seen it coming,...

Adeyinka: No, that's not how it happened, even Jelina too confessed, they didn't plan it...

Bde: They did not need to plan it, I am a man, I now how my body works, there's nothing like falling into sin, it's growing into sin, what a man lusts after will come to him, why didn't Jesus say that a woman who looks lustfully at a man has committed adultery with him? Why did he say that only of men? Yinka, don't be fooled, he knew what he was doing...

Adeyinka: I argued all that, but I have to forgive, I have forgiven, I'm just waiting to heal to see if we can still come back together...

Bde: Take it from someone who has been abused and has abused, you can't change a man, and if people show you who they are, believe them.

Pastor Bisi drove home with a grin on his face. He had just finished a two-day meeting at a friend's church and was looking forward to a plate of amala and ewedu soup his wife would have ready for him. Why he loved amala so much, he'll never know.

A praise worship CD was playing in the background and he sang along, "Yeshua, halleluya, Yeshua hallelu, Yeshua, halleluya, Yeshua hallelu, blessed be the name of the Lord, now and for all time, from the rising of the sun..."

He had an open vision, something monstrous, no, someone gigantic stood in the middle of the road and picked up two cars in his hands and crashed them together. Then the flash was gone, without understanding what it meant, Pastor Bisi broke out in tongues, his heavenly language, and two seconds later, a car, just three vehicles ahead of him skidded off the road and collided with an oncoming car head on.

Pastor: Bashem Yeshua!

Bank laid down on her bed thinking, she felt so emotional, a mixture of emotions that were strange but yet, delightful, she was going to be a mother... she was fulfilling God's commandment of being fruitful and multiplying, but she obeyed that commandment by disobeying the marital commandment. Why did she listen to Adewale?

He had been able to convince her that God would not strike her dead if she had sex with him, he had been able to persuade her that love was a beautiful thing, his condom will prevent pregnancy speech has weakened her defenses, his confidence that God would forgive even if they were wrong, had made me throw away what she knew she should guard diligently, her virginity, her dignity, her faith, her religion, well, God had forgiven but the condom had not worked and they were going to be immature parents, as she rubbed her belly she asked her unborn child for forgiveness, "I'm sorry to heave planed so poorly for your arrival"... the hunger pang came again, this time she wanted crayfish, what was it about pregnancy? Yesterday she craved ogiri, the day before, she craved ekuru, now she was craving crayfish... as she got up from the bed, her head felt light and she felt the room spinning, she was getting dizzy, Jesus help me I don't want to faint again, she held on to the bed pole for as long as she could and then things began to return to normal "so this was what my mother went through for me... I respect that woman, may her soul rest in peace."

Pastor: Bashem Yeshua!

So what did his brother mean by "You didn't tell her?" Paul couldn't sleep. The last words of Matthew were floating round his head. What had Mosunmla told his brother? What did he leave out? His mind went back through all the discussions he had had with Mosun, he had revealed everything about his life to her, he couldn't think of anything he left out, yet Matthew had made that statement...he truly couldn't figure out what it was. Looking at the clock he realised that Matthew was still airborne, he was surely going to call him as soon as he landed.

Well, that wasn't the only thing that was keeping him up, he had given Mosun his ketubah draft and instructed her to read it when she arrived home. Tomorrow he was going to know whether he got a pass or fail mark. He hoped he had passed, a lot of work had gone into making the document presentable. Well, tomorrow was the day, he would be affirmed, or not... Yawning out of fatigue, he turned sideways and went to sleep.

Mopelọla: Sister mi, this is beautiful. My husband did not give me something like this, wow, I have to copy it and make him sign.

Mosunmọla: It's too late, you're already married, you can't bring new rules just like that. Pastor Bọse taught us to make the vision plain before marriage so that we do not encounter unnecessary disappointments along the way.

Mopelọla: If I didn't live so far away, I would fellowship at your church, this document outlines every aspect of marriage, I just love it.

Mosunmọla: Thank you, I think so too, and this is just a draft, so I can make adjustments before the final one. I am so excited, I'm getting married, I'm going be a wife and a mother, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Mopelọla: Sister mi, even though you're 35, I will advice that you wait a year before you start having children, it's not the same once you have children, enjoy one year of honeymoon first, I wish I had done that, sleep deprivation is not the best.

Mosunmọla: It's my doctor friends, they tell me female fertility drops at 35 years and continues to drop until 45 years when it is almost next to sterile. After spending most of my life thinking I would never become a mother, what's sleep deprivation? We'll get a househelp, that's all.

Mopelọla: Aaah no ooo sister mi, haven't you heard about those girls? They are home breakers, I will not trust any stranger to live in my house.

Mosunmọla: You are just being fearful. If a man want's to cheat, he will cheat, househelp or not, Paul is a godly man, I have no fears.

Mopelọla: Mo ti gbo, let's talk about this new minister in your church, Rahab, every time I listen to her testimony I just cry for joy, if God can clean such a woman and make her stand tall, ah, there is nothing God can't do.

Mosunmọla: And she is so dedicated, I just love her, our church membership has doubled since she came, so many people in Lagos have sexual issues, it's really amazing.

Bintu laid on the sofa eating Kuli kuli. Ajkẹ asked if she would like some more and Bintu replied that she had enough.

Bintu: I still cannot believe that Dare came to see me after 20 years. He really expected me to do what? Hug and kiss like nothing happened?

Ajkẹ: At least you got to talk, that's all that matters, he got to say "I'm sorry" and you got to say "I forgive you."

Bintu: I said that in shock, he should have prepared me or something, this was my first love, the man that called me a basket, the man that almost sent me to an early grave, seriously, "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it.

Ajk:Then you tell him to speak your apology language, if "I'm sorry" is not your language, then he should speak your language.

Bintu: Which one is apology language?

Ajkẹ: There are five apology languages: Expressing regret (saying 'I'm sorry'), making restitution, accepting responsibility (admission of wrong), expressing desire to change (repentance) and requesting forgiveness.

Bintu: Hmm, that's nice. Mine must be making restitution because all he said was "I'm sorry, please forgive me." So I just responded that I forgave him but after he left, the anger and pain rose up, how does he make up for the years I spent feeling inadequate?

Ajkẹ: In your case, he cannot make up, you let Jesus be the One to pay you back, yes he divorced you because you couldn't have children, but God gave you two lovely children that call you mummy, let it be.

Mosunmọla came home tired. She was ready to soak in the bathtub, listen to worship music and dream of her wedding. She picked up a glass drank orange juice and and kicked off her shoes. Bing went her phone and on answering she discovered it was Ymi.

Mosunmọla: Aah Ymi, are you angry with me? Please forgive me, when I came to Abuja, I wasn't mentally there, that was why I didn't stop by to fellowship, mo m pe a o kin kja niwaju ile ba lia k'ba, (we don't pass in front of the palace without greeting the king), sanu mi jo (please be merciful to me).

Ymi:Oh, you must have a different person, or maybe I have a different number, I want to speak with the Mosunmọla I met at a testimony meeting..

Mosunmọla: Oh my goodness, I'm sorry, you do have the right number, I was a little presumptuous, I thought you were my friend in Abuja, how are you doing?

Yẹmi: I'm doing well, thank you. I'm calling regarding the new minister at your church, evangelist Rahab?

Mosunmọla: Yes, what about her?
