My message is simple, "Count us in", Ijebus and non Ijebus.

If new villagers are kind enough to make time for an intro,
they should be expected to greet us as one, as Nigerians.
The Intro thread is our port of entry, it's where the new villagers
give us a first impression of themselves. Addressing, specifically,
a particular tribe or group is wrong. Take off your selfish hats for one
moment and think of how some members would feel, because they
do not 'belong'.

New Villagers, the Personal Message facility is a discret means of
communicating with your tribe or group, if that's what you want, use
it so you can master the rules and leanings of your tribe/group to
enable you post replies that meets the expectations of your tribe/group.

There is only one Nigerian Flag, its colour is Green-White-Green.
If you storm into the village and attempt to plant your flag in
place of our Nations Flag it will be uprooted and placed in a safe
place where you can collect it at your convenience.

VOR, thank you for showing us a good example. Thats where tribal
discussions belong, a seperate thread away from the 'port of entry'.

Abraxas, if I may say, the Welsh and English are a lot more matured
than we are when it comes to these issues. They are matured enough
to welcome over one million new 'citizens' from eastern Europe who
have come to live in the UK. This number arrived over a period of
three years. And they all live together peacefully.
Please compare like-with-like.

Lets not make this a big issue, it's simple and does not deserve three
pages of replies. Hope you will all be kind enough to follow this sign:
EXIT

Ms. Woman,
Some people just want to talk and by so doing, they exhibit the same kind of behaviors they're lamenting about. Maybe Villagers introduction section is meant for lamentations, we'll soon find out.

No cat fights jare, it's just healthy discussions of how an individual thinks she knows my ancestry more than the ijebu people.

Visit the Lounge, under the exhale section, there's a thread titled "Ijebus and thier territory".
