Pensioner passes her driving theory test on her 950th go

A South Korean woman has passed the written exam for her driver’s licence on her 950th try.

Cha Sa-soon has been making near daily attempts at the test since April 2005 and has spent more than £2,500 in application fees.

The 68-year-old finally scraped through with the minimum pass rate of 60 out of 100 points on Wednesday.

Sa-soon must now pass her practical driving test before she is awarded her full licence.

The determined pensioner told the Korea Times newspaper she needed her licence for her vegetable-selling business.

So, people still do tests to get driving license? I remember my first day of driving. I just got hold of my daddy's car and off I went. I drove some 5 km before I remembered to change to the second gear. And that was because other drivers were pointing at me reminding me that the hand brake was still engaged. Thank God I didn't kill anybody. I have been driving ever since.

My friend deformed on the leg by polio had his driving license delivered to him in his house. He is still driving his car about town.

I remember when at some point, I was clocking similar miles to a Kabu kabu driver, I was doing an insane commute to a client location which entailed a 210mile round trip to london daily, and diesel was £1.39p. a litre, which is pure Murder on a 3litre engine...I was not a happy camper...(if only I thought to do cooked expenses MPs style) na God dey keep pesin safe for road......there are all sorts of skill levels on the road, and some of them are not compatible with a safe trip home.
