| Nigeria Moves strong against US base-AFRICOM, says US trying to blackmail!!! http://africaagainstafricom.org/ "Nigeria is not taking the issue lightly at all and the government is not going to allow the US establish any military base anywhere in the ECOWAS region. The interest of the US government in the Gulf of Guinea has reinforced the commitment of the government to intensify its efforts at providing the needed security in the sub-region," the source said.
It was learnt that the Federal Government was worried by the terror alert raised by the US authorities last week and saw it as a ploy to label Nigeria and countries in the sub region as unsafe in order to get the opportunity to create a military base in the region.
As a first step to checkmate that plan, the FG has vowed to frustrate the campaign by the US to establish a base in the gulf. "The government of this country is not ready for any blackmail. What they cannot get through the back doors they want to get through blackmail. We are not going to succumb to that game,” the source said. THISDAY also learnt that the Defence Headquarters has concluded plans to visit Pentagon, in Washington, to further discuss the issue with the US government.
"In a few weeks from now, some top military personnel will be in the US to present papers on the plans by the African Union to establish an African Command, which will be charged with the responsibility of providing the needed security in the continent. "We really want to let the US and other countries of the world know that we are capable of protecting the resources within our continent. __________________ Ancient African Writing Systems- NigerianWiki.com You cannot carry out fundamental change without a certain amount of madness. You only have to look at some of the views expressed on this site to know that if and when the usa decides to establish a base (even in the centre of Nigeria), there are many who would not only welcome them with open hands, but would also be available for use by what I am sure the wastern media will describe as "pro-democracy liberation forces".
And then there is this : "In a few weeks from now, some top military personnel will be in the US to present papers on the plans by the African Union to establish an African Command, which will be charged with the responsibility of providing the needed security in the continent."
Why, in this 2007 are "top military personnel" still going to the pentagon to present thier plans? Do they work for the usa military? Is the Nigerian armed forces now equivalent to a brigade (or platoon) from the usa armed forces?
They are presenting thier plans, and what if some big-nosed munkay tells them "I don't like that bit.." will they amend it? What other species of people in the world would even think that it is a good idea to talk about the possibility of inviting outsiders to comment on your plans for self-defence?
Na wa O.
It is the unwarranted regard that we give to these mentalogists that makes them think they have the right to give us lectures about what thier crazy minds tells them are "the facts of life."

LOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!. Leper boy, you must be joking!. Get real for once...unless you are a fraud as in ILN, or born with a severely leprous brain *(which in your case is an obvious fact).
If African military "personells" ignored their summons to the Pentagon *(as opposed to going) to present whatever plans....tell me, where else will the money come from?. You think China, Iran, Cuba or Insane Ghadafi can finance the kind of project in discussion?. Or you think bows and arrows and incantations are the kind of weapons being talked about?.
As a matter of fact, a lot of these monies will transform into more Mercedes Benz on africa's streets anyway, just like all the loans and aid before them. But unless you are prepared to finance the plan by selling your London style Fiat Punto, or your multicolored 8x6 council flat in Pekham; you will either need to go home and build your country, or shut up!. |

Weeeeell, mista 'white' power (hahaha - that title alone is a killer joke!), you are fully out now are'nt you? You have no idea how proud it makes me feel to have exposed your full freckly, hairy backed nakedness for all to see in this Village Square (and what an ugly monster you are ).
Aaaanywayz, now that we all know what you are, why don't you take your long vulture beak and point it towards your homelands? Leave African matters to Africans. Even our most imbecilic commentator is more credible than you.
And I will correct you again: you, mr caucasian, are the one with leprosy in its genes, that is where that weak-ass pink skin comes from - a skin which by the way, only three other creatures have in common with your species (i.e. pigs, maggots and shaved apes..yuk!!). It is the leprosy in your genes that makes you a physically inferior species and, it is that same leprosy which eats away at your brains and makes you invent all kinds of perversity.
What is sad is that a lot of Africans still don't get is how deep down, you so-called 'whites' are all the same. Look at you, a member of this message board since 2005, yet, you despise Africans (as ILN correctly discerned). But, you won't leave us alone; you hang about like some persistent stink.
Same old story is'nt it? From Kenya to Southern Africa, sour parasites like you feed off Africans and still resent them.
What are you doing in Tortuga by the way? You are not practising paedophilia on the 'native' children are you? I would'nt be suprised. Every other day, one of you sickos is caught in some 'third world' country paying children to do all kinds of madness with you..
You are truly a crazy species and with that, I say to you mr celtic kaka scraper " f**k off". I will not waste another second on you. You are irrelevant. Your approval or disapproval is irrelevant.
Worthless man.
I have only spent so much time giving you cyber-kicks because I enjoyed it. But, every good thing has to end....
Some advice now mista shaved munkay, get used to this sort of treatment, the world is finally waking up to what you demons represent and, as the prophets have already told us, the destiny of your skinless species is dire...

| Re: Nigeria Moves strong against US base-AFRICOM, says US trying to blackmail!!! You guys need to stop jerking and be realistic for once. If Monsieur Sarkozy and Gordon Brown can be summoned to DC within the first week of being sworn in, I wonder what makes you think that a group of african military businessmen should not be summoned. All these personal remarks sort of indicate that non of you well-adjusted nigerians in the west are ready to finance the project in question.
Alright....let a player breaks it down again to the level your brains can comprehend. Here goes:
1. Pentagon intends to bring AFRICOM to Africa, to promote Pentagon's interests.
2. Few Ecowas countries volunteer to make it look like they really objecting.
3. Objectee nations are pretending to have an alternative plan, but wouldn't mind funding from the Pentagon. *(You can pay the piper, but not dictate the what?)
4. Great Satan, summons the military businessesmen of these countries to "breaks" down the "PLEN", before the "kesh" can be dispensed. (And before these men scatter into Washington Shopping Malls). Results:
1. Objectee nations will never implement any military alternative. Pentagon's cash will go into where all other foreign cash have been. Mercedes benz, nice houses, bleaching cream, light skinned women and europe.
2. Pentagon will bark and shout about the whereabout of its' "dallas".
3. Objectee nations will pretend to be shouting back but only on TV.
4. Pentagon will eventually station one of several USS carriers exactly where the debate began!. One objectee nation will pretend to station it's NNS Aradu nearby, with lots of oracle diviners on board.
5. At least one objectee president and his family will move to England, but will ask his citizens to go out and "fight" the "enemy"....with slightly empty stomachs and incantations.
6. Citizens dumb enough to obey the "leader" (like Pekham's Leper-boy Eja and New York's ILN) may never return or be heard of afterwards but their locations will be quite obvious.
End of story.
Now let more retarded responses begin.

Rose, when I made that comment I was being sarcastic because I cannot for the life of me believe that this kluc kluc ker has been allowed so much latitude on an African web-site. It is one thing to be open-minded to a variety of points-of-views but, it is another to actually allow some mannerless beast of no nation to come wipe his cloven filthy feet all over your house.

ILN the New York man:
Common now....that is nothing compared to what you and other frauds are spilling. Tell me exactly where I had made any racist comments. In your case, along with London-Pekham's Leper-boy, it was so well deserved and I was merely replying after you two called names. I'm even starting to ignore these as I'm not the type to be tied down to all these stuff coming out of one or two leprous minds.
And I must respecfully add that you do come across as a product of some normadic education scheme!.....Good luck to New York!!.

I see nothing wrong in any of your comments on this thread. In fact, I agree that any monies disbursed will end up in bank accounts in Europe or elsewhere.
I don't think that this is surprising though, given the caliber of African political office-holders (not to be mistaken as leaders) and the so-called military. Any African resistance and/or talk of African consciousness by these characters could be handled with a few brides here and there - and/or by providing them with a few prostitutes.
The price of an African political-office holder! Incredible!!

| Re: Nigeria Moves strong against US base-AFRICOM, says US trying to blackmail!!! I'm happy that the Nigerian government is aware of the grave issues surrounding the institution of an American base in Nigeria and they are doing something about it. I don't know where they will get the finance from, but it is necessary Africa show capacity in its ability to police and protect it borders because the yanks are bad news. Unfortunately for ECOWAS, I think there is already an American base in Sierra Leone, if not officially, certainly clandestinely. According to my saro friends the yanks have acquired the choicest real estate in Free Town, built heavy gates around it and have military personnel present.

This reminds me of a point I made here on NVS, now the Whites are under attack the whole world has to come to their 'rescue'. All thats happening is the Whites are experiencing what they have dished out to most human beings, Racism. Deal with it yourselves, do not get us involved.
If they forcefully build those bases they will radicalise Africans and make our Continent worse than it currently is.
And Africans must not start 'Yesing' to the Whites, African leaders please unite and Africans be ready for whatever they decide to throw at us.

| Re: Nigeria Moves strong against US base-AFRICOM, says US trying to blackmail!!! I think that this news article, in today's ThisDay, belongs in this thread. It would appear that Celticologist is correct that Nigeria cannot do much to stop the Americans coming into what should have been our natural area of influence, the Gulf of Guinea. The article below reads like a preparation of the Nigerian mind for an acceptance of a diplomatic ans security defeat.
We did have the opportunity to stake a claim to the Gulf, and provide a security cordon there in a manner that would have rendered mute America's primary concern for wanting to establish a military base there but we didn't. Instead of investing our money on a very professional, efficient and well-equipped Navy and Airforce, we preferred to spend our money on irrelevant, meaningless projects, and that which was not invested was mostly looted out of the country. Despite the bankrupt state of the Nigerian navy, no principal ship was bought - not even a corvette or a missile fast attack boat to protect the riches that abound in our part of the Gulf. Today, this inaction by the most unpatriotic group of people ever placed at the head of a country, stands the risk of costing the patrimony of unborn Nigerian or at the minimum creating a security vulnerability that will take tens of years to recover from - if ever.
The South Africans, during our eight years of inaction, bought corvettes, submarines, armed Augusta helicopters to secure their maritme assets and waterways. But us, the biggest fool of a country ever known to man trusted in the wisdom of a leader who probably thought he would talk the Americans out of their strategic interest. Well, it will never happen. And for some reason, God has never permitted savages or at least those who think like savages to keep the bounties of nature all to themselves.
Celticologist is correct. You cannot build a navy based on mere wishes and incantations. That will be an inversion.
Gulf of Guinea: Nigeria Soft-pedals on US Military
From Juliana Taiwo in Abuja, 09.17.2007 http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=89555
A senior government official has given reasons why the Federal Government may soft-pedal on its moves to frustrate the plan by the United States to establish a military base in the Gulf of Guinea.
THISDAY had reported last week moves by the Nigerian government to checkmate the military adventure of the United States in the oil-rich region.
But the official told THISDAY yesterday in reaction to the story that Nigeria cannot ward off the US because Nigeria “has not shown enough commitment in securing the region”.
He disclosed that Nigeria government was expected to have invested $1 billion from excess crude account into the coastal security and safety arrangement in the last two years but had failed.
“The point is this, the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, had seen the wisdom as a former military head of state to secure the area and immediately ordered strategic surveillance of the costal zone and the Niger Delta.
“But the Nigerian officials were not comfortable with the way he was going about it because it was supposed to be subjected to debate at the floor of the National Assembly. And Obasanjo knowing that anything on national defence and security issues cannot be subjected to debate went ahead to mobilise the Navy and the Air Force for what the US called minimum security requirement for that zone because oil is important to US,” he disclosed.
The senior government official said the US government expected Nigeria to have minimum-security provisions but unfortunately in the last four months the US department discovered that the process was suddenly slowing down and the new government may not go at the speed it expected.
“The US government has completed all the ground work and has moved into the offshore of Sao Tome and Principe, Angola and Guinea to secure position for their submarines and other security facilities. Nigeria is the only country that has the minimum requirement and the financial capacity to provide those facilities (vessels for the Navy and satellite communication facilities amongst others for the Air Force) because these other African countries cannot afford to put down even one per cent of what is required.
“It is a challenge for the President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua to quickly work within his own defence structure and pump the money as well as continue with that his predecessor was doing if indeed it is serious about security that area though I really doubt if they can match the US now,” he said.
A senior military official had disclosed to THISDAY last week that the Federal Government had begun moves to frustrate the plan by the United States to establish a military base in the Gulf of Guinea.
Defence sources had further disclosed that the Federal Government was already discussing with heads of government of the African Union and leaders of the sub-regional body, the Economic Community of West African State, on how to block any move by US to establish a base in the gulf.
"Nigeria is not taking the issue lightly at all and the government is not going to allow the US establish any military base anywhere in the ECOWAS region. The interest of the US government in the Gulf of Guinea has reinforced the commitment of the government to intensify its efforts at providing the needed security in the sub-region," the source had said.
The gulf’s oil and gas deposit is put in the region of 10 billion barrels.

Washington made of a show of refusing at that time, not too long ago. But the iraq war is turning into a nightmare so they've had time to do a rethink.
