Where is Peter ODILI???

I have heard several versions as to the whereabouts of this man who is supposed to be the most sought after corrupt politician that ever graced the face of Nigeria. The internet and chat forums were awash with the activities of this epitome of thieving in governace and how he raped the Rivers people, leaving them with a kiss of death having institutionalized gangsterism. Today, little or nothing is being said of this man, his whereabout and what the Nigerian state doing to bring this him to book. Where is Peter ODILI?

His ambiton to occupy the highest office of the land was thwarted by the PDP after he had sponsored, with the peoples monies, what was rumoured to be the most elaborate and expensive campaign for elections ever recorded in the history of Nigeria. No doubts was left in the minds of most observers that all he needed was the blessing of OBJ and our fate would have been sealed. But for divine intervention, what is playing out today in Rivers state would have enveloped the entire nation of Nigeria.

Last rumour has it that Peteru is cooling of in the Government house in Rivers State as he cannot freely walk the streets of Port-Harcourt...by the way, who can? Which makes some of us ask how independent and credible is Omehia as the real Governor of the state...is he really the governor or acting as governor? Is the Government house in Port-Harcourt trully the place of abode of Odili?

Who has credible information as to what is going on with the numerous petitions against this man from his ownership of Arik Air, the purchases of Air Ambulances for a state he left without a functional Airport, to the over N60Billion power plant that is still to impact on the power situation in Port-Harcourt.

A position shared by some of us is that should this man and his accomplices not see 10times of the palava that Alams saw for his actions (which pales into insignificance when placed besides those of Odili) in Bayelsa state, then no matter what the Yar'Adua administration does to fight corruption and injustice in Nigeria, his administration will forever leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

The last I heard about Sir (Dr.) Peter ODILI, I was told that he is taking cover under his very beloved POLITICALLY active and VISIBLE wife of a judge, Justice (Mrs.) Mary ODILI of the Federal Court of Appeal, Abuja, who is very busy, spending a lot of time and effort, corrupting the Nigerian Judiciary with the remnants of her very beloved husband's booty of loots from the Rivers State treasury.

By the time they would have finished corrupting the Nigerian Judiciary, there will be no judge left uncompromised in the Court of Appeal. Who does not like being a billionaire?

Hi Abraxas,
I read somewhere a couple of months ago that the wife had resigned from her appointement. At that time we felt it was a pre-cursor for the family to abscond from Nigeria...since then, the only other bit of information I have seen on the Odili 'dynasti' was the arrest by the EFCC of his brother-in-law (see article on Sahara Reporters http://www.saharareporters.com/www/r...detail/?id=388). Even that story has lost follow-up

A bunch of us are keen on knowing how and when the Odili empire will be brought to justice and it seems it is not happening fast enough...except we am missing something. So if you have word, we all ears.
