Mikky jaga, i saw your talk on "the father that got her daughter pregnant", First-lady was trying to get you into a right frame of mind on that issue. Mikky jaga, you are so wrong on that issue. The girl isn't to be blamed. The parents and the dad were evil and will be punished. And from the arguments you made on that issue, you are almost out of your mind.
I never knew what Nigeria's Quota System/Federal Character means until today.
I just did a light research on what it is.
Even if Hausas want to claim Federal opportunities and resources by claiming that they are the largest in population, they shouldn't be allowed to be irresponsible.
What i see is this: The North sees the non-Muslim South as dhimmi (subject). That is definitely what the Qur'an and Hadith teaches.
Nigeria's "Federal Chracter" is definitely not the same as Affirmative Action (in USA).
No where does History show that Southerners took Hausas as subjects/dhimmi by Southern will.
I will be glad to hear opposing points because it is possible that my knowledge on this issue isn't comprehensive.
Please Mikky jaga, forward the message to Oluwato, she really needs it.
Really, the term "Messianic" is the same as "Christian" (i.e., one who follows YahShua the MeshiYah).
Today, Jews who follow Jesus the Messiah (just like the early Christians, who were mostly Jews) are rightly called "Messianic Jews". The original disciples were Messianic but different from most who claim that term today.
Mikky jaga, although i dont agree with all that you have said on spirituality and life, this statement of yours deserves to be repeated:
I do not think the scriptures expect me to be Jew before I can be Christian. Is He the God of the Jews only, and not of the Gentiles? That was what Paul [and the early followers of the Messiah] fought against all [their] life [i.e., the God of Israel is offering His love/Truth to all (Gentile and Jew) through the line of David-Yitzaak as he promised to Abraham that through his Seed all the nations will be blessed.]
I am a Yoruba man. Thank God, the handwriting that was against my being a Christian and a Yoruba has been nailed to His Cross [What was nailed to the cross is the Jewish Symbolic Laws from the Torah, therefore as a follower of the Messiah (Gentile or Jew), you dont have to worry about the Symbolic Laws of the Torah, however, just like Abraham, every follower of the MeshiYah must leave his fathers house spiritually]. God does not expect me to be Jew before I am saved [Thats Right/Amen].
These days, there are some Gentile Christians who like to be identified as "Messianic Christians". They call themselves "Messianic Christians" because they observe the Jewish Symbolic Laws in the books of Moses.
However, since the Saviour has come, God no more requires anyone to keep the Symbolic Laws of the Torah. Anyone who desires to keep them (Sabbaths, Kosha, hygienic/health laws, etc.) may do so but make it clear that these things are not Salvation but symbols communicating spiritual realities. Colossians 2:16-17 "So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or Sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ."
Really, the term "Messianic" is the same as "Christian" ...
Happy Easter, hope you heard a good one!!!
