Submitted by Adeola_USA

Default Hoping to find my family.

I know this is a strange request, but I was born in the USA (Salt Lake City, Utah to be exact) to a man I think was named Sampson Fatunmbi from Nigeria. He attended school in Logan, UT USA. I was put up for adoption and I'm hoping to reunite with him or any family. My birth name was Adeola...

I just read throgh this whole thread and all I can say is wow!
This is wonderful
Where was I when this thread was going on?
Gosh!
How did I miss this
perhaps I was somewhere fighting with auspy, ewuro, Katampe or Tonsoyo.
This is the greatest thing I've ever read here.
Unbelievable.

No, you were playing games with Dewdrops, Babine, ehm and those different permutations and trasformation of names that did nothing to hide the personality behind them.

From as far back as the sixties, nijas once they land in UK or America, because of their poverty exploit white women, have love kids they have no plans to care for and dump them in adoption homes!its callous because as such kids grow up and when the foster parents tell them they have biological parents, their curiousity is kindled.now when such nijas make it in future, they already have settled homes,a wife to whom they did not divulge their pasts, children whose fees they are battling to cope with back home, they want the dirty past blocked for good!etc.so,to have a love kid from 30 years past hoping for a reunion could be heartwrenching for the young lady.if and when adeola finds her daddy,i sincerely pray the reunion wont be a disappointment.if God were to judge nijamen by theruthless, loveless ways they have treated several innocent women and the attendant kids, hun hun hun....the road to hell will be filled to the brim!so help change them Oh God.

Mikky, make you no get me wrong.if 30 years ago one had a kid and placed her in forster home, later they had a chance meeting, methinks the best thing would be to link up with mummy, arrange a family gettogether and let all live together as one happy family.i may be wrong, but the most likely thing is that levels have changed!suppose the papa now has a wife with whom he has joint account and his life insurance certificate is in her wardrobe, him go come call her and say say...ehem,darlee,i forgot to tell you say for 1979,maria born jesus for jerusalem,bla..bla.bla!its all in the area of conjecture.i am a responsible dad,i had a lovely son in that 1979 and love him to bits, has a nice job and even made me a grandpa,:and for all of these,i glorify Allah.my hope and prayer remain that Deola s search has a very happy ending.

Sorry, I still don't get your beef with the reunion. I have this sinking feeling that you know more than you are willing to tell me.

The gal wanted to know her father, maybe not for them to start living happily ever after, but to have a reference if she should be asked who her father was. If that was her aim and she got that through this thread, why should she not be happy to continue living her life as she was living it before, only a bit wiser, that is all.
