Default MEND - NIGERIA Needs Pragmatic leadership with diplomatic leverage

What will it cost to simply listen and take steps towards achieving peace& progress in rather volatile affaires of the nation?

How can a land of milk and honey suffer in the midst of plenty? I totally agree that inasmuch as you push the monkey around and take the monkey for a fool, DON'T step on the tip of its tail. Playing the fool is far rom beign a fool and there is a limit to everything in life. We can not force the nation into taking the right decisions BUT we sure can put an end to upheavals by wise leadership actions.

Dr (Mrs) Esorhe Rosemarie Mark was able to penetrate the creeks and dialogue with the militants unaccompanied by any armed or unarmed guards. This is no news to you all, yet as a nation, we still have not found a platform to deal with or rectify issues raised at that point.

MEND cannot be justified for recent activities but what about deleberating with MEND instead of treating MEND members as mere criminals

Yes we are talking Oil & Gas here, we are still on an abuse mission with the oil industry. What happens when we can afford to start fully dealing Gas?

This is a time for corrective measures because recent events should demonstrate to every nigerian that MEND sees the pipelines and follows the pipelines, regardless of location or State. Nothing personal about the Lagos State issue I strongly believe and know BRF is risen above such inference

What does MEND want?
If I get it right and I stand to be corrected, MEND wants to emancipate the affairs of Delta Region;
Nigeria's economy is heavily dependent on the Oil sector. We have not yet fully tapped into the Gas sector. Oil industry is primarily located in th eNiger Delta Zone of Nigeria.
One can ponder again if the attacks are for political objectives or to seek a redistribution of oil wealth?
These questions can only be clarified by effective mutual communication.

Even that Nigerian government infers that MEND is a criminal body of oil theives, we need to stop and remember that here is no fire without smoke. It takes an action for a reaction to take place or manifest

I will appeal to MEND to please declare its NEEDS & CONDITIONS as a means of a mutual way forward.

Nigeria's leaders message is to remember that Nigeria is a great nation and greatness comes with lots of rare wisdom.

Considering recent events in high places, we can not declare vacancies at the governing leadership level.

Nigeria needs leaders with diplomatic leverage and pragmatic leadership abilities.

You really mean that up till this moment you didn't know what MEND has been requesting?

In summary, a truly federal structure for Nigeria wherein everybody has control of the resources found in their region (not handouts from Abuja or anywhere else by the way). That frees EVERYBODY (with emphasis on EVERYBODY) to develop WHATEVER they want at their chosen pace.

Remember NOBODY can drink crude oil or breath natural gas. It's NOT about the oil but about the authority and autonomy to determine one's priorities and future.

Besides it's callous, cruel and short sighted to have a situation where the place that supplies the nation's wealth is literally destroyed as are it's people daily while NO infrastructure is to be found there.

When did it take 'technical committees, amnesties and other such balderdash' to develop Abuja?

I sincerely hope I've clarified the mystery of MENDs demands for you.

EeZeeBee, you think say I no know?
Make we reinstate the obvious now.
Thank for this explicit further explanation.
