Even if Jeff was dismissed as aresult of the Nigerian Report, that does not erase the following facts:

1. The Niger Delta militants are deadly serious

2. Federal Governments efforts so far have not persuaded the guys to lay down their arms

3. Nigerian army would have wiped the militants off (like they did the armed men of Kano recently) if that were possible.

4. The present method of the past Federal Government if continued by the present government, will only give the militants time to entrench themselves till they are powerful enough to wage full scale war against Nigeria.

We do not need Jeff Koinage or Reuben Abati to remind us of these self evident facts
