Nice one. I admire your positive attitude when it comes to Nigeria. We should all share in your enthusiasm.

Now talking about solar energy, there is no doubt that Nigeria has the wherewithal to embrace this technology. My experience is that the people are too short sighted. They focus on the initial outlay and forget about the longterm savings both Naira and environmental wise. It nauseting when they compare solar alternative to a gen set. To power a house using solar enery (the solar panel, converter, controller and other parts) you need at least Cdn$10,000. When people hear that they tell you a gen set will cost far less.

I hope the nigerian govt will embrace this technology, invest in it and make it more affordable as an alternative source of energy.
