Why the ex-governors alone? Why not the ex-president of a most unaccountable Federal Government that controlled the lion share of the federation account between 1999-2007? Why not start from the audit report submitted by Vincent Azie before he was relieved of his post as Auditor-General of the Federation for documenting that a lot of funds were not accounted for under the Presidency? Why not scrutinize the books of the NNPC for instance? Why not focus on the ex-ministers?
You are shying away from the conclusion that had always been obvious to many contributors on this forum: that the EFCC had always been an instrument of witch-hunting real and perceived enemies of Obasanjo and may have metamorphosed from being an Obasanjo attack-dog to an agency that waits for Yar'Adua's go-ahead before taking any action.
Mr. Paul, with due respect, I have never read you being angry against the establishment in the past. I use to assume the goverment can do no wrong, or is it Obasanjo can do no wrong?
