Default Re: Buhari and Idiagbon: A Missed Opportunity for Nigeria

Max Siollun Says…
'' If Buhari and Idiagbon had been allowed to stay in office for as long as Babangida did, they would have changed Nigeria forever – for the better. As usual, Nigerians have only themselves to blame for creating the circumstances that led to their downfall. ''

Nonsense .Absolute Nonsense. Buhari-Idiagbon military regime with other military junta are complete aberration and their misdeed should not be eulogies in any way. Military occupation by its nature is highly antithetical to the governance of civil society. They forced their ways into governance of the civil society and succeeded in militarizing the psyche of the civil society. They came into governance with the pretext that they want to rid the civil society of corruption but they succeeded in enriching themselves and making themselves an emergent bourgeois oppressing the civil society today. Most retired army Generals are among the richest class of people in Nigeria today. So what are you talking about? THE BEST OTHRODOX FOR DEMOCRACY IS TO ALLOW MORE DEMOCRACY.
