| Re: Servant-Leader President Yar’Adua’s Nigeria Meets the World Hi, ILN!
You have started again, ehn?!? (Just Kidding! )
Interesting report - even while I wish you had excercised some measure of restraint in your reporting on certain personalities in that Nigeria Meets the World audience. Two specific examples include your focusing on Henry Kissinger so much that your bias against him almost derailed from your reporting. Second was your massaging of Ribadu's ego.
What I am trying to say is, it would have been better if you made your report a simple, unbiased one that simply stuck to reporting the event, without being too opinionated about it (like American Fox News Channel), for the benefit of all your audience irrespective of their political affiliations and/or ideological leanings.
But, be that as it may, yours should be acknowledged for the effort you made. And I won't bother wondering if you made that effort for yourself or selflessly because, at the end of the day, we all have to lookout for ourselves too - we CAN'T love everbody and be generous to everyone and forget about ourselves ke!
So, here's hoping Nigeria achieved something benefitial at that conference organized by Thisday at Waldorf-Astoria..and here is also hoping you were able to put your foot in the door this time. (Again, Just kidding!) Your zest is (sometimes) admirable, ILN. I know you have a good heart and want the best for your country. I do as well.
Godspeed!
