Thank you for this excellent and candid review of Ene Oloja’s movie character role in the “Brave One.” It does justice to the forgotten heroines of Nigerian Nollywood movies who are either no longer active in the movies or have migrated to the US and other parts of the world. It was good to see her face splashed over the US silver screen. As a relative by blood, I am proud of her. She is my niece.

Unfortunately for me, I did not know about her role in the movie until she called me three weeks after the movie was out. I felt rather ashamed because I have been rather busy and have not been talking with her. We both live in New York but we are miles apart and busy in our own respective fields as immigrants usually are to make things happen. I will forward this link to her mailbox. I am sure she will be pleasantly surprised and proud to read it.
