Default Re: Nigerian Corruption - We are All Guilty

Max Siollun,

I beg to disagree that we are only recognized internationally for three things.

Firstly,I doubt if we are internationally recognised based on the exploits and standing of our Super eagles in rankings.I doubt.I do Know that we have international players that are doing the name of the country good in international circles, but not as a team. This is my view. Many might want to disagree.

Secondly Nigerians are also noted for their rich culture and academic excellence internationally.Talk about the Achebes,Soyinkas,Adichie,Emegwali to mention a few.

Now to the issue of corruption.I quite agree that one way or the other we are all guilty. The constitution is providing cover for this corrupt entities and we seems to be helpless. It is taking its toll on our socio economic development.I agree.

The only way forward is if on one hand all of us including you, Max decides to lay down our lives for this country.Go to the strees and demand that these elements be flushed out of our system and on the other hand ensure that our constitution allows for adequate punishment to be meted out to deserving culprits. It is a task that goes beyond theorizing and wishful thinking.

May God Help us.
