Interesting piece. Thanks a lot. More interesting that those same participants are still all around and making 'noises' in one forum or another. Some of us were too young and too occupied with other things in those days to really understand what went on. This piece is indeed an excellent memory upgrade.

But wait a minute, so it was a Nigerian top official that got cold feet and thus end up ruining the beautiful plan.

And what is Nollywood doing about this story, this I am sure will make for a block-buster in the US of A. But, what about Nigeria?
