[Oh Boy!!]

I have said this to friends and now I truly believe this. Even if all the money in the world is poured into Nigeria, events like these will still happen in that country, nothing will change. Because what hails Nigerians is our mentality. Everything is connected.

It starts with believing we are actually self worthy because we are Nigerians.
It starts with us embracing and knowing the worth of our culture instead of trying to be American.
It starts with us understanding that black is beautiful instead of us bleaching our skins.
It starts with us understanding our history and knowing where we came from. Because when you understand what our forefathers fought for, you will not give it away that easily

Everything is connected. Because when people understand that they are worthy, then they don't settle for mediocrity. They demand respect and value the life of their fellow Nigerians. They understand who the enemy is. They challenge authority to be better.
