not sure we lived in peace before the whites came here. Any record o show that? As far as i know many people kept slaves got from wars with other villages and usman dan fodio used wars to spread religion.
i think there have always been wars vbefore anyone came here but the crude weapons we had then did not allow us kill so many, except the case of rwanda where machetes killed more people than guns.
