Abi dem go reach age 45 before they start? The guy could jolly well have started following his father and brother(s) to fish as early as age 6. Second of all, even if it's not from the fishing, he must have been frequenting that stream right from his infancy (no be village?) so the stream could still have been what caused his condition.
