A Nigerian, working in a French embassy? I hope you have not been 'spying' on your fellow Nigerians on behalf of the French as a translator? I know many of those, so many apologies if you are not one of those.

You have a country. If you are not happy about the way you are being treated in any foreign country, please head back home. The bad news is that you should prepare to face some other forms of human rights violation in your own country like the "French" people have pointed out to you with all due respects. Good luck!

2 trips to France as a tourist in my life time have provided me with more than enough personal experience to avoid such a country at all costs in the future. If people complain about the rough-shod treatment from the British-BA, they need to try Air France. The French people are one of the most uncouth sets of people God ever created(a very unbiased position). What Nigerians choose to do in countries like France(without any colonial ties) beats my imagination.
