The much some of us have done is write and talk, but much more is needed. There can never be a reinvention of our society without the restoration of our dignity as a people. Like Otho Von Bismarck once told the Germans, it is not by great speeches and debates that great questions of the day are decided but with iron and blood.
Of course I agree with you. But where/how do you get people to do more than "writing" and "talking", when you have different ethnic/sub-ethnic groups preaching "One Nigeria" all over the place while secretly waiting for the others to kill themselves off or die off in an untimely fashion, so they can control all the nation's oil/resources as sole beneficiaries?

It is not going to be easy. If you are looking for what happened in Iran during the past elections to happen in Nigeria. . . don't hold your breath. We as Nigerians, have lost all dignity and such cannot be restored, since Nigeria was not founded on the principles of dignity.
See aje-butter progressive Ribadu complaining of 'hunger' barely one year outside the UK? He can't wait to go back and continue 'chopping'. Please let us keep enjoying the 'debates' and 'speeches'. At least they are entertaining.
When the elections role by by Xmas 2009, we shall have more entertainment to keep body and soul together as we flood the internet with more debates and speeches .
