| re: Operation “Throw My Shoe At Nigerian Looters” The oft spoken docility of "Nigerians" is premised on a very shaky assumption: that, there is any substantial number of people known as "Nigerians". "Nigeria" for all practical purposes does not exist; it follows that there are no "Nigerians". Hence inhabitants of the "geographical space", "Nigeria" see her as a prey -- a semi-concsious prey. Many of those who do not have their teeth on the prey simply envy those who do and are bitting off chunks of the still alive prey. Very many Nigerians (a conservative estimate) would rather wait, struggle, and murder for the chance to feed off and kill that prey than do anything to save and revive her.
We must first build / create a nation before we talk of citizens, before we talk of providing and caring for them. Surely before the citizens can protect and uphold the nation's honour, promise and potential. We, for now, just have this big, weak, fleshy, healthy looking game.
