| Re: The Travails Of A Stranger In Igboland (Part 3) Most of the men in black (police) in Igboland are not Igbos; they are Yorubas, and northerners in the main. So be told that if you are robbed by policemen in Igboland, the chance that you have been robbed by people from Yoruba/north is quite high.
There are far more ritualists in Yorubaland than in Igboland. The point is that like you rightly said, Igbos flaunt a lot. They even flaunt their crimes, hence Clifford Orji became popular (sorry notorious). There are far more wicked ritualists from whence you came but they are smart enough to be salient in their operation. What was that word again, gbomogbomo?.
The Yoruba landlords in Lagos are more shylocky (sic) than their Igbo counterparts. Some Igbos in Lagos are even denied accomodation by prospective Yoruba landlords for reasons bothering on ethnicity.
Again, the Igbo penchant to flaunt (as compared to the Yoruba penchant to live in denial), perhaps explains why ''Rev'' King became notorious compared to all those yeye Cele and Aladura pastors who commit all sorts of atrocities and only get caught once in a while (when they loose their guard).
