Meeen, l weak o!
A friend forwarded the "text" to my phone, telling me it was his Pastor (Redeem church) that sent it to "members".
I reasoned: There is no crime in praying and prayer is never "too much"!
The Bible also says "To hearken is better than to sacrifice"!

Just before the scheduled prayer was to begin, the Pastor of "my church", same Redeem!, sent another text to my phone, denouncing the first one!

I prayed for my loved ones and then sent a text to the Pastor of my (Redeem) church with the following words.
"Pastor, if a Redeem Pastor said this message was from the G.O. and you denounce it as "categorically false", would it be not be proper to ask "whether there is confusion in the "body of Christ"? Please respond."

Am still waiting for my response but you can bet that this Sunday's Service "MUST" produce "Biblically legitimate and satisfactory" answers!

I still remember that Pastor that granted a Public interview claiming Obasanjo has been anointed by God to rule for another 4yrs, just before the aborted Third term imbroglio! Wonder where the con-man is right now?

And this one in "The Sun" of 10th June 2006 said "God told him he will succeed Obasanjo, back then!

Daniel Moses Samuel, a clergy and General Over-Seer of Upper Light Mission, Okokomaiko, Ojo and the president of DMS Solitary Forum says God has different agenda for Nigeria in 2007, that all the politicians jostling for the presidency are only wasting their time.

According to the minister, God revealed to him and has equally prepared him to succeed Obasanjo whenever he leaves office. He says that even the president is aware of this fact and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party will soon look for him to fulfill this divine mandate.
In an interview with Saturday Sun, he speaks on the shape of things to come in 2007, and the prominent position Nigeria occupies in God’s agenda.

The genesis and the vision
Samuel started as a policeman and later joined the Nigerian Army. According to him, it was while he was in the Military Intelligent unit of the Nigeria Army that God told him on July 10, 1989 that he was going to prepare him to take Nigeria to Promised Land. God never told him when it would be. “Thereafter, I gave my life to Christ and within a short time, I resigned from the military and went into full time ministry. God continued to give me this message. When God told me that I was going to succeed Obasanjo, then I made it known to the world in 2003, even though God did not tell me the date. What he told me is that Obasanjo is going to hand over to me when he is leaving office. President Obasanjo knows what I’m talking about. It is not hidden to him.”

The vision for appointed time
Samuel says he is not a politician and so does not belong to any political party. His Solitary Forum is not intended to transmute into a political party. According to him, it is the organisation that supports the vision of his movement. It was inaugurated in 2003,with membership that spreads across the country and in different political parties. When it was clear that Obasanjo was not leaving office in 2003, he mobilised the Solidarity Forum to work for his re-election.

On how the vision is going to actualise since he does not belong to any political party, Samuel says, “ If God calls you, He had already positioned people He is going to use to bring the vision to manifestation. In this matter, God will touch those who are concerned and they will look for me. I have no plan to enter into politics but waiting for the PDP and Obasanjo to invite me. This is the source God showed to me, which He is going to use to bring this divine mandate to fruition. What is going to happen is that the PDP and Obasanjo will bring me in. Obasanjo fully knows what I am talking about.”

God, not author of confusion
Against the claims by other minister politicians that God said they are Obasanjo’s successors, Samuel says, the truth will soon be known .God is not author of confusion. “You can only lie for a while, at the end of the day, we will know who is who. In any case, God usually has a substitute. If you are called and you are not ready, the substitute takes over., if other persons say God called them to be president in 2007, I wish them success. Let us watch and see. God never told me it is 2007. What God told me explicitly is that president Obasanjo will hand over to me and no other person is qualified for that post that is where I stand.”
Signs of 2007

To prove his points, he gave three signs which will make Obasanjo and others to believe him, that when the first and second signs manifest, nobody will tell the PDP to look for him “First, beside what God is going to reveal to them (PDP stalwarts) about me, He is going to punish them for this third term issue. The punishment is that the party will lose some top notchers- members of board of trustee and NWC to death before the end of the year.

The second is that, if they still insist on not looking for me to fulfill God’s plans for this nation through me, God will visit Obasanjo in a little way – with sickness that every Nigerian will know that Baba is ill” Until the manifestation of the two signs, I will not reveal the third sign but I pray that Nigeria does not disintegrate and be in total darkness. I don’t want Nigerians to believe me but they should enquire whether, I am real or fake from these great men of God, Pastors Enoch Adeboye, Wale Oke, Mike Okonkwo and Eziekiel.

Immediately, these signs are shown, PDP should not waste time so that Nigeria will not be in total darkness. The spirit of death loom over PDP, this is the time for them act to and pray for God to heal them and restore the party. They disappointed God through third term, more so, their refusal to recognise me despite the prayers I’m making for them; despite all that I told them which came to pass in the party. Since they look for signs, God is going to show them. Let us watch, there may not be general elections in 2007. If there is general election who that is going to be sworn in? These are the things to watch. The man that we have on stage now is Ibrahim B. Babangida, he will receive MKO -type of victory. All these things I know but I don’t want to go in details.”

I just want everybody to know that God is interested in this country. Nigeria is second to none in God’s agenda. We have a different and prophetic destiny from other countries and this is the time God wants to intervene and usher Nigeria to the Promised Land. From what will happen between now and 2007, you will know that God is interested in this country. How many of these shots that are running around preparing for 2007 presidency will witness 2007? God’s time of judgment is starting from July 15, you will be hearing of deaths in the land.”

“Why must we talking again of those people who have ruled this country? We should be talking about new generation. I believe in generational change. God can bring up a young man with a vision to take this nation to the next level. Let us just watch and see the outcome of 2007.”

Tender plant from the North
“When God wants to use somebody to bring people out he will go to the least people.
When Tunde Bakare prophesied about the tender plant from North sometimes ago , I never knew or understood then. It was recently that through revelation that I came to understand that Bakare was referring to me.

To confirm it, God took me to Latter Rain Assembly one Saturday for a programme. The members were rejoicing, dancing and praising God for their prophecy coming to physical manifestation. In my Church the following day, then the voice spoke to me that the prophesy of Tunde Bakare will happen in my life that I am the one he is referring to. That is how I came about that tender plant, if not I will not claim what God did not show to me. Bakare got it clearly.

To whom Has God Spoken?

Several pastors make conflicting predictions on the 2007 presidency claiming God spoke to them.

Politicians nursing the ambition to succeed President Olusegun Obasanjo on May 29, 2007 have started strategising to win the race. As they jostle for the plum job, many men of God have gone into seclusion to seek an answer to the question "Who will rule Nigeria in 2007?"

After a spiritual journey of 51 days, Timothy Ibe of the Resurrection Power Ministry International, came out with stunning revelations on Nigeria's political future. Ibe said that during his spiritual journey, God specifically revealed to him that in 2007, Ibrahim Babangida, former president will be sworn in as the next ruler of the country. "I wasn't comfortable too when God announced this to me but when he unveiled the things IBB would do, I obliged. I'm not so stupid to put my life at risk and claim God sent me when he did not. This prophesy is not new, it has been confirmed again that it will surely come to pass," Ibe said.

But, his prophesy runs contrary to the one from Tunde Bakare, Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Lagos. Speaking on the 2007 presidential race, he advised Babangida to forget about his plan to return to power. "Do not be intimidated by the formidable fortress IBB has built around himself. Do not think for a second that he is going to rule this country again. He will dribble himself into a bottomless political pit," Bakare said. Bakare, who is known for his outspoken revelations and warnings, had made such speculations in the past which were said to have come to pass.

Similarly, Glory Chika Nsiegbe, a.k.a. Anointed Man of God in Grace of Christ Mustard Mission, Port-Harcourt, predicted that Babangida will not achieve his ambition to succeed Obasanjo in 2007. "The spirit of the living God declares that if IBB continues to insist on his quest for political leadership, God shall deal with him the way he dealt with the late General Abacha," he said.

There is yet another prophecy from God concerning the 2007 presidential race. This appears to have made this a situation of one story, many voices but all from God. Bassey Orok, senior apostle and prophet of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has warned Nigerians to brace up for what will befall Nigeria in the event of the 2007 elections. He predicted that a South-South politician would emerge as the next president of Nigeria. Orok warned President Obasanjo, Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Muhammadu Buhari, Babangida and Gani Fawehinmi not to bother seeking for any elective position in 2007 as it would be a waste of time and energy. "Anybody who wants to subvert this divine programme will have the wrath of God visited upon him and his children," he said.

My people can over-do things sha!
I wonder which kin "Motorolla" some of these Pastors are using,......to call God? .....abi na MultiLinks? Hmmmm.....
