| Re: The Man Of God And Mass Hysteria I saw this reply to a blog somebody just posted. The first man that wrote the article is a member of the Redeem Church but hates the nuances being practiced there. The guests that wrote replies were very objective as to many other nuances ,methods ,scams ,acronyms and modules being used by these so called men of God to undo others .They have even gone face book by sending mild threat text messages which once sent out carries a fiat at the end to the recipient to resend to 20 people or they lose their jobs, die or get spiritual attack .The subjects of the articles and the replies therein are apt. One wonders how Nigerians can easily defend their own in the face of glaring, disreputable and outlandish practices. Even from first hand church members .Methinks that the article sought to bring to the fore the despicable acts committed by many in their quest to prove themselves as the anointed men of God. Time and time again from the history of this country a certain brand of Christianity has been bandied around as the elixir of all earthly problems. People who even go to London for a visit call their anointed men in Nigeria to pray for them so that their visas can be extended on expiration. What a miasma and sheer ignorance, that prayer should be brought into purely civil affairs of visa expiration. If your visa expires the next best thing to do is to board the next available flight home because you already are an outlaw in that place in the first instance. But we continue to shout ourselves hoarse because the very same people who use religion to outwit others have their hand in most pies in this country. They have even started recruiting bank executives to be their pastors, they tell you it doesn’t matter just be born again and you will receive Jesus. I have reclined their offer to fellowship with them severally. the few times I have interacted with them ,I have noted with dismay that their sole aim of preaching is not to win souls but to get the person who has money from whom they can collect. Another sad observation is that of fundamentalism, Is it in the Bible question being directed at Cathloics first by protestants and now by these Pentecostal sects. On TV the main tinge of their attacks is on catholic prayers, worship and doctrine forgetting too that there is no doctrine in the catholic Church which does not have its foundation in the Bible, is it the Rosary with which they say Catholics worship Mary, is it confession which they said confess your sins to one another and not to the priest .The desperation I see is that it is all about money and from the look of things those behind the scene know their targets and go for it. The Kalu guy that posted a reply even said that “Jesus spoke more about Money than salvation”. How else can one understand their approach to gospel values?
The other guy Elvis did a nice appraisal. The one whom I am replying to now besides launching scathing insults on the Catholic church is surely one of their own members .he compares the person who took delivery of the private jet estimated at 4 billion naira or $28 million to Amokachi>Both persons don’t meet. Amokachi the ex Super eagles player worth his jet and he bought it with his sweat. And it is his private wahala how to maintain the jet.In the midst of the present economic environment, the utmost needs of so called men of god riding in private jets is otiose, abnormal, devious and inconsistent with biblical values. This makes me to conclude that the observation of Elvis stands in the midst of this weird infamy ,salvation poachers, destiny quenchers and luck mugglers. The full biblical values should be lived out in the life of every Christian and to this mundane preachers who waft our ears on air, we say practice what you preach! Also it is said bank executives were the ones who contributed to buy the jets that gives an insight too, to where bank managers slot shareholders money in Nigeria and the liquidity of those banks. To every Nigerian out there read this article and arm you for the facts listed above are real.
