The Williams girls were awesome against each other in the singles final. Venus rallied hard to win 2-0.

A few hours later, both Williams girls were doubly-awesome as they blitzed their opponents to a 2-0 win in the Ladies Doubles, taking just 59mins to clinch the trophy.

Indeed they were awesome!!!!! Dad zoomed back to Florida to watch the finals on his boat. He said his job was done and they knew what to do at that point. I'm beaming over here!!!!

I'm eating very little pie - this men's game is off the chain. Thank God Federer won a set. Nadal can win now if he wants - I just didn't want Federer to go down in straight sets. Federer deserves better than that.

Is it just me or does this look like Sampras-Agassi? Federer is serving just like Sampras used to.

The two guys are playing the game of their lives. Unfortunately for Federer, a bad dose of nerves affected his start, losing the first two sets. He's been making uncharacteristic errors.

Nadal may be a worthy champion, no doubt. Only I don't enjoy his mooing like a cow being slaughtered..

I don't like the mooing and the ball bouncing either - but the guy can play and his left-handedness is just extra annoying.

Now a tie-breaker won by Nadal would be a great ending - both men lose tie breakers to each other after a perfect tournament. But Nadal could just as well win 7-5. Federer just spins out of control for some moments - they cost him the second set especially.

As I promised, the men's final is more thrilling. And that was my point! A 5-setter. Anyone who watched that tie-break will agree with me! And Nadal might still win!

Wimbledon has not 5th set tiebreaker, so Federer has to break Nadal to win. Not sure if that can/will happen.

Nadal eventually won ! Great, I loved watching him in Montreal sometime back and he seemed so humble and looked great for the future. I am happy he won.

I am extremely happy for Nadal.He deserved it.Now he has proven critics wrong about not being good on grass.
I love Federer too but felt it was time for Nadal to win a Wimbledon.The 2 r the coolest guys in the world right now and I love Nadal's humility.Also Federer is down to earth.
