Goodluck to the kid Ronaldo - you brought thrill to the theatre despite all. Goodluck son.
But at $130 million?? Is he really worth that much?

| Re: The Manchester United thread: A star is born. ha, we have to find out from the business guru's or insane idi0ts at Madrid o .
Something strange is going on here tho;
1. United! website was the first one to publish the agreement, not real Madrid...that seems to me like a United! strategy of putting their asking price thus, baiting or actually hooking the madrid mob ?
2. Kaka was exchanged @ £60M, so inevitably, Ronaldo was going to get an extra 20M???
Howsoever you look at it tho, these monies just to transfer the value of 2 legs and 1 head - conventional brainz not necessarily - is insane. It is starting to feel like a bubble.
Unreal.

| Re: The Manchester United thread: A star is born. Really poor performance by the lads. Burnley deserved the win. Too many players out injured but Foster is just a joke of a keeper. Can't wait to have Vidic, Rio and VDS back.
That said, our attack is kind of blunt so imo, its going to be a long season for united fans.
Glory, glory Man United.

For United, Rio and VIdic are like armoured tanks. Anyway, as long as our attackers can score upfront which was the reason we lost. Not taking anything from Burnley, they played like their life depended on it.
Agreed. It will be a long season for United but only if others step up the game. 36 games to go.

Yeah, quality strike from Owen, made it look easy. Vidic is an armoured tank, didn't miss any tackle yesterday. All the front men scored yesterday which is good for confidence as we play the gunners on Saturday.
If only we had Rio and VDS back, it will be sure win. Tough game but I believe we'll shade it.
It's on.

Should be a cracking game. So much rests on who scores 1st.

&
As for the game: poor United showing, by my standards. Choked midfield and let Arsenal destroy themselves. United! luck-based win....erm! strange but I ll take that
The kids deserved something from the game but what 90minutes of breath-taking football show.
Great Entertainment all the way. Wenger looked like the King of Old Trafford __________________
