Mikky, you are right there, but this is one tournament i've been looking foward to, seeing that Nigeria is the defending champions, and the event is happening on Nigerian soil.

Nigeria engaged the germans today as i indicated. AT the start of the game our boys looked sharp and purposeful. They lost their way somewhat, and by the end of the first half, they were two (2) goals down. Now at this point i deicided to pop out for more meaningful/rewarding activities, but i just couldn't stay away. By the time i got to my friend's house the second half had sarted and nigeria had conceded a third goal. At this point i gave up on our boys and left for my home.

I just got the news from fifa.com that our boys actually finished thge game 3 goals apiece. Information reaching me indicates that our boys scored three (3) goals in a 7 minute time span.

Right now i don't know whether to be happy, or mad. These boys though have shown that it will be foolhardy to write them off.

I actuially watched the game till the end. The way the boys were playing made me stay glued even when others were leaving. I firmly believed they could reduce the tally, but never once imagined they would equalize.

It appears that the jinx continues. Nigeria does better when she has her back to the wall. Hope it will happen in the Super Eagles' case even though their destiny is not altogether in their hands.

Mikky I bet you saw how to make the extra man count. I think Sia Sia should learn a lesson from that.
