Golfers storm Benin City Ladies Open

All road leads to the Benin Golf Club as the Ladies Open Golf championship hots up today at the all green golf course in the GRA. Lady Captain Irene Fagbre says ladies coming from the nooks and crannies of the country are expected to set the course on fire.

The three day tournament which teed off yesterday with the ladies, will see top lady golfers like Uloma Mbuko, Nigeria’s number one female golfer and others vying for the star prize. The name Mbuko send shivers down the spines of some golfers but that has not stopped the Abuja based golfer from doing her thing wherever she shows up.
If Mbuko shows up in Benin, one can be assured that the gross prize is already in her kitty. According to Fagbre, the ladies have lined up 30 trophies and lots of other wonderful prizes which will make the three day tournament glamorous.
