The first thing Rita told James when she noticed what she thought was just a mere fling between the two was fast developing into a full blown relationship was the story of how she was raped in her junior class in secondary school. The product of that unwanted pregnancy, a fifteen- year old SSS 1 student, was living with her parents.

But James didn’t show any sign of worry. Instead, he not only asked her hand in marriage but insisted that the girl be brought under their wing, at least, to give her some parental care, as he put it.

How Rita wished she never allowed that to happen! Two years have gone by since the day she walked away from what she called her dream marriage. She had taken the decision to walk away after she caught her husband in bed with her daughter. And to further rub insult into her injured pride, her husband of four years had stood calmly from her matrimonial bed to announce that her daughter, was as a matter of fact, carrying his baby.

She had woken up the next morning in a hospital. If it were you, what would you have done?

We've heard of big men in Nigeria sleeping with mum and daughters...and even Kings.
I've seen sisters sharing same husband even here in my domain...does it make it right? Does it look like real abomination? Are some men cursed?

I guess this is a variant of the Woody Allen Mess with the Previn Girl.

1st.........So called Husband has to go....step or no step relationship, he was in Loco Parentis and what he did was bang out of order...It is incest-est-est.
It must have taken a lot of Trust to enter a relationship and remarry with a female child, knowing how vulnerable that makes the Child, and with the scary stats on step father molestation these days....(Most discerning women wait till the kids are grown...don't wanna risk tori)

2nd......I will determine for how long it went on, if there are other kids in the house, find out if he had been inappropriate with them too?

3rd.....Find out what is lacking in my relationship with my daughter, so much so that she felt it OK for this to happen to US.
I will still love my Child....even if I may not like her much for some time, due to what happened.

4th...After some time, to allow for the cooling of raw emotions, brought on by the betrayal and being lied to, I will begin to do my part, to rebuild my relationship with my Daughter, support her through her pregnancy, and the birth of my Grand Child, and be there for her as she goes through the whole drama of out of wedlock pregnancy and childbirth.

5th....Then when I have made sure my Daughter and her pregnancy are OK, and I have resettled myself emotionally etc.............
I will show the man Original Igbakwu....I will show him Nnwiiiiii.....I will teach him to mess with me and mine.
Police go enter Case O........underage sex
Court go enter Matta O.........I go do nuisance value demands for inside divorce petition.
Civil proceedings go dey O....to make sure he provides for the new offspring, well well.
Plus report him to all his friends and relatives.....
HELL HATH NO FURY........

Nothing of course.

An erect penis has no conscience......especially when "it" is not tight enough and the perpetual lack of '"poli-grip" factor"....men always complain about.

See what kind of assistance I could give my daughter.......having the baby....future plans to salvage whatever is left of her wrecked life.

As for the man....I don't have his time at all......he would have to live through it all.....like the rest of us.....disgracefully.

@LILO, this is me taking liberties to continue the story...what if your daughter, underage and all- claims she is 'in love' with the offending male and decides to pitch her tent with him (even if you know it won't last), would you still love her? Would you force her to come with you/stay with you(depending on who's moving out)? Would you fight them both? That variant has also been known to happen.

Her daughter beat her to it by being the first to get pregnant for the randy man. She should take the cue and quietly pack out and allow the daughter take over from there. She can then look for another guy she can call her own who hopefully will not play away games with their housemaid.

In the alternative, considering that hubby is hard to find, she may decide to be a co wife with her daughter so they both keep an eye on their straying Romeo to prevent him from scoring another away goal.

Yes....Wizzy is harsh.
Men with kids should not remarry either. If anyone blows his or her chances by having children out of wedlock, or gets divorced......they should stay single(occasional shagging permitted only,...with some bullet-proof form of birth control or sterilization)....period. Too many dysfunctional children out there neglected by irresponsible parents who selfishly put their interest first before those of their kids.

In the case of this lady, she was raped and had a daughter. She really has nothing to worry about since she failed to teach her daughter some basic things about life...like not eating where you ****. Or the daughter at an adult age of 19 has decided to make her own choice. Dysfunction begets dysfunction.

19 years old is not considered "childhood" in any part of the world. Her daughter was not raped by the step father...this is a case of consenting adults doing the wrong thing.....perfectly legal no matter how immoral. They are not related by blood.....in the final analysis....

You are partially right. The root of the dysfunction has not been detected, that's why the cycle continues. What most poeple do not knw is that dysfunction, especially sexual dysfunctional has a spiritual root. It has to be uprooted otherwise it will remain throughout the family tree. It may be masked, but it is there!

What most poeple do not knw is that dysfunction, especially sexual dysfunctional has a spiritual root. It has to be uprooted otherwise it will remain throughout the family tree. It may be masked, but it is there!
