Police investigate death of Cameroonian man who killed ex-wife, self in US/ The late couple

The police in Cincinnati, a city in Ohio, US, have commenced investigation into the death of a Cameroonian, Chris Takam, who allegedly committed suicide after killing Annie, his ex-wife.

The two former loverbirds were said to have parted ways after their relationship hit the rock.

Annie reportedly came to the US after she tied the knot with Chris. She had consequently attended the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and graduated as a registered nurse in 2018.

It was gathered that Annie’s husband played a major role in financing her training as a nurse.

The mother of three children -- two boys and a girl – was however, said to have filed for a divorce after she allegedly started dating another man.

The development, it was gathered, had left Chris – who had already lost his house and other investments – further traumatised and consequently decided to end his life and that of his wife.

Before he allegedly committed suicide, he was said to have called the police.

The couple's death has since left the Cameroon community in Cincinnati in a shock, with many of them taking to their various social media handles to comment on the incident.

“People are fighting to survive a period like this in the world. And a stupid Cameroonian is somewhere so negatively planning and executing evil.what a narrow minded man that decide to curse his family and country forever! Is he the only one that had a bad wife or failed marriage? Does he love or care about the children? Is that the only way to solve the problem? shameful, disgusting and wickedness,” Ful Daniel, a Facebook user wrote.

In the same vein, Mamboe Bronhilda, a Facebook user, wrote: “This man didn't even think about his kids.he is so egoistic. By the way the woman was divorced to him.You took her to the USA and so what?? Is America heaven?? This woman surely had enough abuse from this fellow. May God console the kids.”

Another user, Andreas Touankam, wrote: “Women you multiply anything men give you but be careful if you multiply pain in your husband feeling it might take a bad turn.”
